This replaced a lcd television she had for over 15 years. She no longer could afford cable so this was a good alternative with a HD antenna I purchased. The picture quality is incredible. I wanted to make sure I get the sound quality would be good on its own without the need to have to purchase a sound bar, It exceeded my expectations. The smart features are pretty intuitive and after giving her a quick tutorial. She caught on rather easily. Just like others have mentioned here, the remote control could be better. I think Samsung wanted it to function like an Apple TV remote

This is a great small size, which is just what I needed. The color is not quite as vibrant as the older one, but I am getting used to it. Very happy with my purchase!

The only problem she has is the very tiny remote control which is pretty much make the TV less useable as she can’t read and barely see the little buttons. Smaller is not always better.

But the TIizen user interface that Samsung tv uses is awful. I had to spend quite a lot of time browsing settings to figure out how to customize. By default the Samsung channel content loads at bottom of screen and it will randomly start playing a show on autoplay. There is no easy way to turn the autoplay off. User forums have suggested fixes but it requires digging for a workaround. I decided to keep the tv but ended up using a Roku express to override the Samsung OS. Best Buy was great- tv was well boxed and it arrived on day I selected and brought to my door.

While your Q60B TV may currently default to Samsung’s TV Plus app, please know you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option > Autorun Smart Hub
1) Enabling Autorun Smart Hub automatically launches the Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature.
2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off by pressing the Select button in the current menu.
To further assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the Q60B TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q60B TV under QLED 4K TVs > B Model Lineup to download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

Protection Plan Pays Off!

Picture quality is excellent. Will add a sound bar to enhance sound. I couldn’t be happier and so glad I had the protection plan. No hassle and great customer service from the Geek Squad!

The color reproduction is good, excellent contrast but of course not oled levels. Viewing angles are a bit of a let down. Decent gaming features. Clean OS. If you want a tv with a slim design this is pretty nice.
