    A light blooming below average unit.

    This tv is a massive disappointment. I went with this Samsung because I have had nothing but success with previous Samsung TVs. But right out of the box things were just off with this unit. The color was boosted to sickly levels, the contrast was weak, the detail was fine but nothing spectacular. And things got better with adjustment of the settings but it was still not ideal even with all of that. But it was still managable and a decent enough TV in terms of the picture until I tried watching a film with a lot of dark scenes in a dark room. Then it was unwatchable due to the massive amount of clouding and light blooming that was beyond distracting. I thought my TV was just dirty for a bit. But nope. It was the backlight showing on the screen. The sound was ok, the apps were fantastic as usual. And to be fair, this isn't a terrible unit by any means. It will get the job done fairly well. But compared to even older Samsung units? This was a significant step down. So much so that I returned it and went with a Sony that was ten times better in all categories except for the sound from the TV's speakers and the apps. I rarely use the apps and I use a soundbar, so I wanted the best possible picture quality for a new TV. This Samsung did not provide that. Unless it's marked down significantly, I wouldn't recommend this one. Spend more if you have the funds and get a Samsung OLED if you want to stick with this brand. Otherwise go with a Sony QLED. Unless you want to have the visual brilliance of 1917 ruined by light blooming.

    Remote is no bueno

    It's 3 stars only because after about a month of use, very few hours of being, it's a bedroom TV, the solar remote is not able to recharge. I am trying a third time to recharge by having it on my car dashboard today - searching for sun there. Two previous times had remote in window sill. It still does not turn on the TV after those two tries. There does not seem to be an on/off button on the TV itself. UGH

    I needed a 43” tv to replace a 10 year old 40” Samsung 4K. I tried this TV for a few days. Very disappointed. The picture is dark and muddy in many scenes, even after extensive adjustments. I returned it today and bought a 43” Sony x85k, which has a much better color range. A little more money but appears worth it.

    Tv is good, however startup was a nightmare. No printed instructions, etc. Not sure I’ll ever buy another Samsung product.

From there, you can select the Q60B TV under QLED 4K TVs > B Model Lineup to download the guides you would like.
