It plays a nice music when it's done. It has all the cycles I need. It allows you to change the temperature of water on a 4 point scale. If I forget something, I can stop, it unlocks the door and I can add laundry. I like that I can use powder detergent because I don't like other detergents.

I judt didn't want to deal with this "Feature" for the life of the machine.

I had purchased a LG top loader with agitator but noticed it would not wash or clean the cloths correctly. Went back to this Samsung and instantly noticed it washes. Next up is the matching dryer

Replacement parts are expensive, the Samsung service manual is available for DIYers, but the procedure for troubleshooting a total control board failure is not well covered. The controls should outlast the rest of the washing machine as it is the case with other major brands. A friend told me, "That is what you get when you purchase a washing machine from a TV manufacturer", LOL, he is certainly right on this one. Not good quality for its price tag. A two year failure would be expected from a low cost low expected quality device. Different experience than Samsung TVs which I have used for over ten years without any problem.

We have used them now for over a month and could not be happier. The price from the Black Friday deal would be hard to beat. I love the range of settings on both the washer and dryer and especially the steam for the dryer. I also love the number of rinse cycles on the washer. All of our clothes have come out clean and dry on the specified cycles. So far extremely happy with this purchase.
