bought as a scratch and dent drove from Kentucky to Ohio for pick up did not unwrap them until back home and looked like it fell out back of a truck.
also contacted samsung about the 20yr warranty and they acted like they didn’t even know it had a 20 year warranty and it’s posted on front of machine

Best washing machine I have purchased to date. Very power efficient and washes extremely well. I am very impressed and the Smart Things connectivity is invaluable. Highly recommended.

1.5 years after purchase, stopped working a few minutes into a wash. Very very disappointed… got in contact with Samsung and they sent someone over. First visit, not prepared and no parts - they were here maybe 5 minutes? Second visit, part is defective and no backup here or their warehouse. Now have to wait another week. If it gets fixed when they say it will, total time will be a little over 3 weeks to fix, pretty incredible.
Not what I would’ve expected from a newer product…my old washer was a third of the price, I used it for 8 years with no breakdowns and it is currently at my moms house still working. I also have a Samsung fridge and that thing broke down a few months after purchase.
After this experience, highly suggest going to another brand. I wish I would’ve

We have used this brand for decades, so when we decided to buy this new one-we we’re surprised and very disappointed. Especially because it has such good reviews. The first one leaked a puddle within 24hrs while being used. The replacement one dripped after use as well. Brand new machines leaking water right out if the box. They had to come out and confirm the 1st one was hooked up correctly-it was. Trust that we made sure the second one was unwrapped in our presence. My husband determined it is the new faulty style of door they are using. It is different than our previous versions. Clearly they have cut corners on this new door. When we called Best Buy after the first one, the guy mentioned this happens all the time and they have an entire system for dealing with it. We have an new different brand of washer coming next week. The door feels sturdier-fingers crossed. It helps that we have the special Best Buy plan to swap out easily, too bad we actually had to use it.

Disappointed there’s no light inside too see way back should’ve stuck with a top load

Shakes very bad, I’ve tried a light load. Not sure if it’s the washer or because they didn’t balance the washer. Horrible! Should have been noise control.

bought a Samsung appliance in March 2023, and by November 2024, the machine stopped working—both the display and the control panel are completely unresponsive. A technician came to my home, charged me $100 just to inspect it, and advised me not to fix it because the repair cost would be as much as buying a new one.
I find this unacceptable. Samsung doesn’t seem to care about their customers at all, and Best Buy, where I purchased the machine, isn’t any better. This is not a case of misuse or mishandling—the machine simply has a defective control panel, and it lasted such a short time.
I’m incredibly frustrated with the lack of quality and customer service. For a product like this, I expected it to last far longer—MUCH longer than just over a year. Please, don’t waste your money on Samsung products. I definitely won’t be buying from them again. 1 year and 8 months. Terrible!

I purchased the washer and dryer set a couple of months ago and I've had nothing but problems since making the purchase. I continue getting a "4C" error message if I try to use any other was or dryer setting outside of the normal was or dryer setting. If I try to wash delicate clothes in cold water only, I get an error; If I try to dry clothes on a lower temperature than a normal cycle, I get the "4C" error message and the machines stop. I called Samsung for help and it's excuse after excuse as to why both brand new machines are having the same error. They said they would send a technician out to fix the problem, but then they started questioning if I actually purchased the machines. Are you kidding me! I sent receipts and they said it wasn't good enough. DON'T BUY THIS WASHER & DRYER SET. IT LOOKS GOOD, BUT IT'S TERRIBLE AND THEY WON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY YOU PAY FOR. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

this review is for the previous purchase of exactly the same model one year ago. basically for all washers on the market right now. what ever happened to Maytag?
had no choice but to buy again. with the cost of repair and warranty hassle its cheaper to buy a new washer. they are no throwaways.
