Best TV ever, recommend it to everyone looking for an affordable tv

Perfectly fine tv, I have gone through two remotes already though, Not sure why they stop working.

Went looking for a 50" replacement for my 36" Samsung "not so smart" TV, with Roku box attached. First purchased a TCL 50" and when i got it home last week, the picture just was not bright enough and colors were very dull, no mater what setting. I took it back and purchased this 6 Series 50" Samsung. What a difference! Very bright picture, easy to set up, and totally satisfied especially with the price!

As far as the bang-for-the-buck theory, I would agree. The video is really good. But the audio in 'meh'. I updated the sound bar on my main TV in my living room today. I brought the soundbar there out to where the UN50NU6900FXZA is. The soundbar is a Samsung HW-K450 with the Wireless Subwoofer (PS-WK450). That two-point surround system worked pretty good. Many times I needed to turn down the volume! With this TV, there is no HDMI or Bluetooth out for audio. Also, and more important to my use, the TV is not equipped with Samsung's TV SoundConnect (SoundShare), which according to the soundbar manual "is a function is supported by some Samsung TVs released from 2012 on." Some, but not this TV. I got the soundbar operating because I had an optical cable lying around. Kinda dissapointed in the manufacturer, but moreover, I am disappointed in myself for not further researching the unit rather than making the emotional purchase in the store dur to a great price! I am assuming this is why the NU6900FXZA series didn't last long.

I'd rather go to the dentist than shop. I decided to find the TV I wanted, order it online, and just go pick it up. From parking to driving away with my purchase was under 10 minutes. So I'm giving Best Buy major points for convenience & speed. Set up was simple. Screw on the feet, log into a Samsung account and you're in. Wifi connected quickly. I read several reviews about this model's issues with dull colors, and they were correct -- initially. Once I started playing around with some of the Picture Expert Settings, everything came to life. Depending on the source, the colors are vivid, the picture quality & resolution is brilliant. The reason for a 4- rather than 5-star rating is that this model does not have an HDR setting that can be turned on/off or adjusted. When I googled the best settings for the 6 Series, some experts emphasize playing with this setting in particular. I would have liked to have seen the difference if I were able to toggle it, although you can clearly see that it is using HDR on the home screen. I use a 4k firestick for most of my streaming and there is zero stuttering or lag when jumping from app to app. The sound is crisp and, even at full volume, there's no distortion. I'm not a gamer, so the two hdmi ports and ethernet options more than satisfy any need that may arise. In sum, I'm loving my new Series 6 and would definitely recommend it.

I like the size of this TV. It fits just right in my living room and doesnt take up too much space. Being a samsung smart TV it came with a lot of other channels that Samsung offers too so that's also a plus!

This is the perfect TV for the living room of my first apartment. It came with mounting equipment but I just have it on a TV stand and it's still going strong three years and two moves later.

I needed a larger TV, and bought this because of the reviews. I love this TV! There are so many features, and the picture is amazing! It literally looks and has all the features of an $800 TV.

Great TV for a an even better price, my only downfall is the 4k resolution doesn't always look as sharp, other than that perfect TV for a bedroom or child’s room

Does this tv have bluetooth compatibility? I been trying to connect my soundbar and no luck. Any help please and thank you!

Wonderful Samsung product. Not a single issue with this product. I will continue to buy Samsung for the quality of their construction.

Tv was working great lasted me only 4 years stop working on me though recently.

Just set up my new Samsung NU6900 a little while ago. I needed a 2nd TV for our bedroom. I am moving my 42" Panasonic plasma to the bedroom and will use this new Samsung in our family room, replacig the Plasma. Picture is nice and crisp but can sometimes be inconsistent with its color. The sound is a little tiney but can be made to sound better if you fiddle with the equalizer in the sound setting. If you are a picturephile you can work on your viewing preferences using the Expert setting within picture settings. Lots of cool apps of which some I will never use but they are nice to have around. Most of the apps with this TV I have with my Comcast service. Bottom line? I like it!

I purchased this TV around the beginning of 2020. Can’t have asked for a better TV!
