Great UHD Tv at a great price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this tv is a great purchase. It has a great picture, color, motion rate, make it a near perfect viewing experience. It also has great sound, my last Samsung TV had terrible audio quality, either to load or to quite depending on what's going in the scene. And the price is perfect, there are tv's with newer 4K technology, but you will spend 3-4 times the money. My only compliment is navigation with the TV, if you go into the menu option and other features it directs you to a pop up home menu when ever you exit and to me that is just annoying.

Awesome TV, Great Picture/Great Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought a 43" LG 4K TV but it was too small plus the picture was too dark, and it was a pain to try and change the color settings. This 50" Samsung 4k TV was a better size plus I think the picture was better than the LG. Both TVs had some preset color options, but the LG wouldn't let you make any adjustments to their presets. The Samsung TV on the other hand does let you tweak their presets or of course you can make your own if you want. I mainly just use the Dynamic setting and only adjust the backlight and brightness depending how bright the living room is (daytime vs nightime). The picture is great, upgraded to Netflix ultra hd or whatever for $14 a month and it looks great. Our modem is in the bedroom so its just a wifi connection and it streams just fine. Lastly, the sound from the TV is pretty impressive. It's not as good as a full surround sound system obviously, but it has a little bass to it and does just fine on its own with no other speakers hooked up to it. Oh and it only has optical digital audio output no old school red and white rca's just so you know. Overall great TV and I would definitely recommend it.

Great entry level TV! Easy to use built in system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV for the price. The smart TV system built in is totally sufficient for daily usage. However the built in system is kind of slow to any action. The TV is not that thick either so it’ll be great for wall mounting.

get it
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely gorgeous picture, easy to set up, horribly difficult to tear away from. I'm actually returning tonight to the flat I lived in when I purchased it, because my ex-flatmate no longer has much use for it and I have missed it terribly since I left. To be clear: when I first got a VR headset, I started playing in that, even without full VR. With Horizon Zero Dawn, it felt like playing on a movie screen in a theater only I could enjoy. So immersive. Clear, beautiful pictures that made me feel almost like I /was/ Aloy. Final Fantasy XIV in VR was a whole new experience of Eorzea. After playing on this. . .regardless of the environment in my peripheral vision, I felt so much more immersed than with anything else. It hit a level of near-real I didn't know was possible. Even after moving away, it took months before my headset felt adequate again instead of gritty and fake. Honestly, I'm glad I'm getting it back tonight cos the headset never really felt the same again and I just want my crisp graphics back.

Great high definition and 120 Hz refresh rate.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s definitely different from what I’m use to. I really wish this tv was vcr compatible or able to take the yellow white and red cables on game systems. It seems to up to date. Only offering a HDMI feature. Make sure you have top notch internet or hotspot before purchasing or it’s not worth it because if your looking for a top tier pixel playing tv then high quality fast WiFi is a must. Or else your programs that are hd on Netflix won’t play in HD.

Great TV for the house.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture, audio, color, etc. you need in a TV to enjoy watching is in this model. My nephew said it is also excellent on video games and he is almost a professional gamer. Easy to hook up with any accessory devices. The price is very affordable with a small budget. Couldn't ask for more!!

Great TV for a beginner SMART TV user!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the TV for my mother who is elderly and technologically challenged. It has a great picture that she is able to see and SMART features that she has learned to use all by herself. I would definitely suggest this because features, picture, easy to use are elderly friendly and the price was very reasonable!

Great Deal For a Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV for my new place for all of my roommates to use. I really wanted to get a 50" 4k under $500. Luckily this one was on sale because the newer model had just come out. What I like about this one was the smart tv aspect. Out of all the smart TV I've seen I thought this one had the best software because it worked great but also looked good and was user friendly. It really competes with Roku and the Amazon Fire stick. I think the best part of this TV, besides the picture, is the brand. I've had Samsung TVs in the past and the have never shown any signs of wear or anything. Just an all around great TV.

HUGE tv, and great looking!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I needed a new tv, and decided to get this Samsung, particularly for the price, since it was in our range. We also got the five year protection plan just Incase there is issues, since tvs are primarily ‘throw aways” meaning not made to last as long as they used to. We absolutely LOVE how the screen looks for picture quality, love how easy it was to set up to our internet and cable box. And to be able to download Showtime and HBO was easy. And when plugging ina DVD player, etc, to wait about 15 seconds after the unit is turned on, and the unit detects it, and goes to it, is awesome. My only issue, it’s only got two hdmi ports, not three, but If that’s my only complaint, I am ok with it. I don’t keep the extra units on when not in use, so unplugging and plugging things in isn’t a big deal for me. The tv was on sale, so this one compared to the series seven at about eighty dollars more, for an extra hdmi port wasn’t a big enough deal breaker for us. For some the specs are EVERYTHING, but for the casual gamer like me, and avid movie watchers like we are, a few extra pixels aren’t a big deal.

Great Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound and clear picture. We like that you can change the 4K picture. We toggle between dynamic and standard view. I had other brand TVs and they never last. We have another Samsung we bought 7yrs ago and the picture is still great. So will only buy Samsung from now on. Don’t waste your money on anything else that is likely going to burn out in a few years. Spend the extra money.

Budget TV with built in Airplay
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to best buy to buy 1 tv but this tv and another of the same was being sold for the price of 1. So I purchased it. It's no bells and whistles but quality and sound are more than enough. It has video game mode which works perfectly with the PS4 Pro for 4k gaming. This is a smart TV and the remote control was missing so I can't speak on the remote. I find that the wireless often goes out on it but I can connect an ethernet cable to it. I love that it has apple airplay built into the tv (which was a hidden surprise). I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my child. So far no complaints other than the WiFi dropping constantly. I own another samsung tv and one thing I see that is different is that it doesn't have bluetooth built in. One thing I like about this tv is the fact that I can adjust the display brightness so at night the tv isn't so bright. The colors on the tv is also nice (for the price)

Overall a good TV, but not great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the picture and sound, and ease of use. I don't like that when the internet drops that it doesn't automatically reconnect. Also, it would be nice if the remote was lighted. Good value for a good product, but could be much better with just a couple more features.

Great tv easy set up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy set up great picture. I’m not a fan of 4K but it’s where we are going. I think it looks like a soap opera if that makes sense. I like reg. Tv better. There may be a way to switch it. But I’ve yet to get into trying to do anything. It works so good right out of the box. It’s self explanatory and you can use either remote to work everything. As in your cable remote or the one that came w the tv. I had a Samsung and the pic went out. It was about 7 years old. Maybe more. But they are good tv’s and it didn’t break the bank by any means. So if I get 7-10 years out of this you can’t beat the price. GET IT! Only thing I can’t figure out is how to get it on the wall w the existing wall mount. There’s a way. I’m just going to let someone else help me w that. You won’t be sorry on this one!

Good Mid range Tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has a great picture. The blacks aren't too bad and the dynamic color range is good. The volume can be quite quiet when watching movies. The remote doesn't light up and is not very ergonomic so If that's a big deal for you, buy a universal. Overall this is a good tv to get when it's on sale.
