Purchased this right after Thanksgiving as an "Open box - Excellent." Looked to be in excellent condition until we plugged it in and turned it on. Screen shattered. My husband finally got around to installing it after the craziness of the holidays settled down. Too bad he waited so long to install and we are now out of the return window. I assume the tv would have been just as great as our other one that is larger but exact same model but will never know. If you buy open box, open immediately. Lesson learned

This review is not about the tv. It is anout the horrible experienxe I had with Bestbuy and shipt. I had never used shipt before but I was excited to get my tv on the same day for juat 5 dollara. Included in this delivery was also a exrention cord. When i got the notification that my packages were delivered I was exxited only to find out the cord was delivered and the 50 inch tv was no where to be found. Beat buy even sent me a picture of their proof of delivery which didnt include the tv just the cord. As obvious as it was that the tv wasnt delivered, Bestbuy and shipt made me go through a roller coaster ride that lasted days just to get a refund. The first ticket getting closed because it was simply marked as delivered. Although they had a picture THAT THEY SENT ME and i had proof from my ring camera and wayze camera. The attitudes that customer representatives from both companies gave me was disappointing and ridiculous. I wonder who got a free tv?

2 poor quality TVs in 18 months

Purchased a similar Samsung TV @ BB 18 months prior that stopped working. This was frustrating.
Bought this replacement product that was received in nearly pristine packaging but when set up and plugged in was obviously damaged from impact. The box had clearly been opened and resealed but clearly, not fully inspected. The dent in box was NOT near where damage on unit was. Since I noticed this issue after 15 days because of a vacation, I was told there was nothing BB could do.
I see that I was sold a defective product probably as a result of poor, lazy processes @ Best Buy or possibly just dishonesty.
Needless to say, I won't be shopping there anymore.
In addition: the Customer Service line was unprofessional. Laughing and unresponsive, telling me "Sorry we can't help you right now!"
Not had too many more frustrating experiences as a consumer, although the bar is low!

Hi Loompus,
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung CU7000 TV and for sharing your experience with your TV not displaying properly. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections.
2. If the issue persists, define precisely what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, and fixed horizontal or vertical lines.
3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception
Should your issue persist, please contact Samsung Customer Support. You can call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Had for a few months. If don't like new remote. Any Samsung from I believe 2017 forward will work! Love being able to move apps in middle of hub an settings bellow. The remote actually works stuff in hdmi ports. Different brands seem to mostly fully function with it. What confused me with new remote was using antenna and mute. For guide press in. Flip pageges channel button. For channel use outer circle up or down an to schedule use circle to move right. Enter is center circle to change channel or schedule or well whatever. Volume key on left press in like channel for guide but volume pressing mutes. It's a smart remote. Use sound bar in hdmi arch port for best sound an if Samsung use their cord from Samsung song bar. It's recommend to use filmmaker mode for best picture I've found this true. Also gamma is reccomed 2.2 and noise reduction off. But on websites that's what's reccomed. Which seems to be what I like. Other setting I think should be personal but I like warm 1. Also forgot led motion recommend on. Some functions won't work at all unless out of an app. If not cutting the cord. Still use arch. For that remote setup as receiver. On my Samsung soundbar I like smart. But that's me. An eq everyone has their own preference on the settings I've mentioned or just what's recommended on most websites and what I like. The TV unlike older versions responds very fast example registering an app. I've cut the cord. But watch it may want unlimited data. Some apps alone or add ons even lots of apps are going to be as much as if you didn't cut the cord or more! There are free apps too like tubi an plex. Rest will have a ton of channels but same show whole time of different episodes. For apps I reccomed going ahead and registering them. To add to watch list an save spots. TV seems to have 3gb of memory I think. So plenty of space for apps. I love main hub how can move the apps around but sure could do that on older version of Samsungs. However now settings are at bottom an they can be moved around. Keep in mind some you can't be in a app to change the setting. For me the remote is so fast dint see the pont of have voice remote for an upper model. Love the picture. All around a great TV. The app buttons on remote I removed. Lots of things I watch a night. Hit one of those by mistake in barely any light. Your in a app. Took a needle went as far down as possible stuck in side lifted it out. Or if wouldn't. Used just a razer blade to a box cutter. Then glue gun. Let sit. An blade to smooth it off. Also little easier to spot now. Very slim lite weight remote. I love the picture, being able to move stuff around for best access, how fast the TV responds to everything. An price at the moment. Thinking of buying another. Oh get yourself a surge protector or suppressor around 27,000 jouls or more unless wanna buy nex experive Electronics with lots of storms that happen. Last thing I'll say Samsung even if items out of warranty an year old will try to trouble shoot an fix a lot of things for you. (hint either wall or unit to Un plug) you'll need model an serial number. This goes for almost all their items. 1-800-726-7864

Excellent idea. Here is a realistic, detailed example based on the template. You can use this as a model and swap in the details for your own TV.
This example is for a hypothetical, popular mid-range TV (like a TCL or Hisense model).
Review Example
Review Title: Impressive Picture for the Price, Still Going Strong a Year Later
Product: TCL 65" 6-Series 4K QLED TV (R646)
Owned for: One Year
Overall:
I've had the TCL 65" 6-Series for a full year, and my overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. It's the main TV in our living room, which gets a fair amount of daylight, and we primarily use it for streaming movies on Netflix and Max, watching YouTube, and some casual gaming on a Nintendo Switch.
Picture Quality:
The picture quality is the TV's strongest feature. Colors are vibrant and punchy, which makes animated movies and nature documentaries look incredible. It gets plenty bright to combat the glare from our windows during the day. In dark scenes, the black levels are excellent for an non-OLED TV, thanks to the mini-LEDs. There's very little blooming or grayness. Motion during sports is generally smooth, though I occasionally notice a little stutter in very fast-panned shots. After a year, I have not noticed any dead pixels or screen degradation.
Sound:
The built-in speakers are just okay. For dialogue in TV shows, they are perfectly clear, but they lack any real bass or overall punch for movie nights. We watched with the built-in sound for about two months before we ended up buying a soundbar, which made a huge difference.
Software & Features:
The Google TV operating system is fast and intuitive. I love the personalized home screen that pulls content from all my apps. All our essential apps like Netflix, YouTube TV, and Disney+ are available and work well 99% of the time. The remote is well-designed, and the voice search feature works accurately.
One Year Reliability Check:
This TV has held up incredibly well. The performance today is just as good as day one, with no noticeable slowdown. I have had zero major issues. Maybe twice in the entire year, an app has frozen, requiring me to go back to the home screen and restart it, but the TV itself has never needed to be unplugged or reset.
Pros:
* Fantastic brightness and vibrant colors
* Deep black levels make movies look great
* Google TV interface is fast and easy to use
* Excellent value for a 65-inch screen with these features
Cons:
* Built-in speakers are weak and lack bass
* Occasional, minor motion stutter on fast camera pans
Final Verdict:
After a year of ownership, I would definitely recommend the TCL 6-Series. It's an excellent choice for anyone who wants a premium-looking picture without paying a premium price. If you primarily stream movies and TV shows, you'll be thrilled. Just be prepared to budget for a soundbar to get an audio experience that matches the stellar picture quality.

Here we go again. About a week ago I got an LG UHD 50" UQ75 for my birthday. The menus and setup were a little difficult, but the picture and sound were excellent. The problem was it had a very poor wifi connection. Also its WebOS was so slow it was almost unusable. I couldn't figure out why a brand new TV was being outperformed by a Roku box in the same spot. So I decided to take it back.
Exchanged my birthday TV for a 50” Samsung CU7000. Smart Tizen OS has been working flawlessly and the image and sound more than meets my expectations. While I like LG monitors, I’m not impressed with their TV setup or WebOS. The Samsung has been perfect. I like the look of the latest Tizen OS and the simplified remote is all I could have asked for. Here on out I'll be sticking with Samsung.
