    Breaks wayyy too easily

I just bought this tv 1 month ago, and all was fine until my son accidentally dropped his phone near the tv with a rubber case on it and it barely hit the tv, it's now cracked in a small corner that caused 1/4 of that portion of the screen to go blank and display white lines, now I'm finding out there is no accidental coverage and the cost to replace the screen is more than what I paid for the tv, people please save your money, I spent a lot on this and the warranty and for a phone to barely even tap it and it cracks, THAT IS RIDICULOUS, I feel like I was robbed, I feel like someone just stole 500$ from me. Look for another brand, the internal screen is wayyy too delicate, I'm in shock right now at how easy it was to break.

Decent 4k TV for the price, I think my 3 year old Samsung 4k is still a nicer TV but I also paid twice as much for that one. Sound quality on this one is subpar, the remote is crap, smart interface is worse then the older TV's, settings are hard to navigate, and I seem to have intermittent connectivity issues. the TV wont play any streaming media for hours even though the TV says I have 29mbps signal then it will randomly play streaming data for a couple days then it will lock out again for no reason. Overall its a nice TV for a bedroom TV, and it a good value for the price paid, but I think when you're buying a TV for games, movies or overall viewing satisfaction just save up and get a higher end Samsung.

No analog audio outs / no Bluetooth

This is extremely important to stress: some new HDTV's are coming out without 1/8" audio outs. Bluetooth is still not standard, so you can't add speakers that way, and both are ridiculous not to include. Obama Phones are given away for free and have both. Before this set I had not encountered one, but there I was, with visually the quality I wanted but not much more. Other smart platforms like RokuTV and Chromecast are better. I took back this set to the store because I paid $110 more to get it, and once home there was no way to use my speakers other than to spend upwards of $60 more in cables and converters.

BEST BUDGET TV ON THE MARKET!!!!

I choose this one because it was a Samsung and usually have very high quality products. This TV is great!!!Buy it!!!I use this TV as a primary television in my master bedroom, primarily for the Xbox One X.TV speakers are decent, frame rate is consistent for faster movies and games.I noticed it takes whatever old movies or games you may have and makes it look like new.For the price you cant beat the specs on this machine.Make sure you get the right HDMI cord for it to take full advantage of the wonderfulspecs this TV has to offer.Without the right ones, your picture quality and frame rate are probably gonna vary.No problems or issues here with the set, great buy!

I’ve already bought this TV once before as a Christmas gift for family, only it was the 55” and not the 50” that I bought for myself. I absolutely loved the picture and sound, and had to have one of my own! It looks incredible, and the sound is very dynamic. This treble is crisp and clear, with the bass really filling the audio profile quite nicely. The colors are bright and clean and I would recommend this TV to anyone on a budget looking for a phenomenal 4K picture.

We bought this yesterday 11/21/18 for Black Friday! Set it up as soon as we got home with no hassle. We’ve only had it 12 hours and I am in love enough that I had to write a review!!! The 2160p and 4K is amazing and crystal clear. This is by far my favorite tv I’ve ever had. Considering I was picking between the LG 50” and Samsung 50” I’m so glad I picked Samsung! You will not go wrong with this beauty!

I'm a bit frustrated. I love the size, but I don't think my DirecTVNow is completely compatible with it. It seems to often have problems buffering the video when I want to watch something. Other times, it's fine - I don't know where the problem is. Also, I used to be able to plug in my Roku stick into the back (which has NBC Sports Plus and ESPN+ etc) and I'm unable to download those to this "smart" tv. Now the Roku isn't working either. I've tried looking at settings, etc, but can't find the problem. Also, I can no longer plug my Wii into this set, as it doesn't have the 3-prong (white, red, yellow) plugin for the Wii.

Had this a entire week trying in vain to adjust the picture. While 4k tv videos looked amazing, out if the box, regular 1080 HDTV was horrible, washed out. Faces looked ghostly. Using the higher power consuming DYNAMIC setting helped quite a bit. 1 week after getting this, the source switch kept changing from port to port while watching TV or movies. Huge Samsung fan, have 3500 3d set and a 1500 7 series 47" set. This is soooooo cheap, my third set 289.00 VizXx set kicked butt.

I purchased this as a gift for the hubby and he loves watching games on it. It was an upgrade from our previous 40in. Picture- 4/5 Presets are a little light for my taste, but thats adjustablean overall great quality. You will start to know why tv/film producers have limited close-up shots. Yikes! :/ Sound 3/5: Presets for this for the average bloke are fine, but if you want rounded sound with richer quality you have to spring for a sound bar. Boooo! The system automated to connect to Samsung devices. So if you have an Samsung phone you automatically are setup/program with your phone. Its quite seamless and a bit frightening how a company has data on you.

    4K Smart for Bedroom

Wanted a smart TV for bedroom. Got so used to the one in living room. Do a lot of streaming from PC to TV's with Chromecast. Once you get this set up it works great with Plex App. You can binge watch a series of TV shows easily. This TV is in the lower price range so I didn't expect a Qled picture for the low price at Christmas time, and the picture was a little soft looking for maybe 3 months. Then the TV updated with now Firmware, and I believe it improved the picture quite a bit. It looks better and I didn't change any of my settings. 50" Smart 4K under $400, I think it is still a good buy.

Recently I purchased this Samsung 4K TV due to the Pre-Black Friday sales for $327.99 and I couldn't be happier. At first I was worried of paying $400 or more for a Samsung 4K TV since I'm purchasing the PlayStation 4 Pro for 4k gaming but I saw the deal in store and couldn't resist buying it right then and there since I didnt want to miss out on the deal and it be sold out for the rest of the holidays and I have to pay 350-400 for the PlayStation 4 Pro depending if there's a Black Friday deal on the console and everyone in the store seemed to be buying this particular model along with the PlayStation 4 Pro due to how much a deal Samsung was giving us for a 4K TV!

I purchased this tv to replace an old (I mean old) Samsung set that had finally died. The picture quality is great and looks great in the space we have it in. Set up was a breeze! The only drawback I have found is the sound quality. I would recommend a sound bar as the sound just doesn’t suit me no matter what setting is used. This is the reason I am giving four stars instead of five. My wife primarily uses this tv and she is fine with the sound but eventually I will purchase a sound bar to go with it. All in all when our next tv dies if this unit was still available I would purchase again with a sound bar.

    Open box Samsung NU6900 series

I purchased this tv as an open box item. The tv is a good tv, but there was no screws to attach the legs. I called the local Best Buy and was able to pick up the screws. When I got home with them and attempted to attach the legs the one side would not tighten, so I don't know if one day the tv will fall over. After the 2 week grace period I noticed a long scratch on the screen. So I'm not a happy camper about my experience and the lack of quality control on their open box purchase mechandise. If I would have known what I know now I would have bought new. There is no one to call for on line purchasing which I find troubling.

I have had this TV for about a month now and so far so good. The picture is clear and the color is vibrant. I use it mostly to watch the streaming channels since I cut the cord for cable. Unfortunately i had to remove a star from the rating. About 3 weeks after purchasing the TV all of the streaming apps stopped working and started giving me error messages. I reset the wifi and that didn't fix it. Finally i factory reset the TV and everything went back to working just fine but that meant i had to redo the set up process all over again. Not fun. Just hope this isn't an every 3 weeks type of thing.

I have owned this tv for a couple of months now. The picture is fair. I am still tweaking with the options on the tv. The price of $330 was not bad for a 50 inch and it is a Samsung. It is not top of the line, but it serves the purpose of being in the bedroom. It is a "smart" tv as well with a few built in apps. There are only 2 hdmi ports on the tv so you cannot connect to many devices to it via hdmi. If you looking to put a tv in the bedroom or looking to try 4K, then I would recommend this tv to you. I hope this helps.

I found this TV at my local Best Buy for an INCREDIBLE price (beating every single competitor I thought of, even online stores). I previously had a 43 in. Sony TV in my room (since 2008) and I didn't think I needed a new TV because mine was working just fine. Little did I know, my TV's output was only 720, so I wasn't getting the full 4K resolution that my favorite TV shows are capable of today. The smart feature allows you to access hulu, netflix, amazon, youtube, and many other video streaming apps with just the push of a few buttons. Everything looks SHARP. Watching TV is a whole new experience for me now.

The tv comes with everything you need, great picture quality, and compact design. No extras on this product that inflate the price, but two hdmi ports is all most people need now that devices such as an Xbox have 4k player, streaming, & games all in one. My review is also based around how great of a job customer service did in my situation. The initial tv unfortunately had a faulty HDMI port. Upon my request for an exchange at the store they were very easy to work with and I was out of the store again in under 10 minutes, with a new perfectly functioning tv.

By far the worst tv we’ve ever owned. It lags, shuts down apps randomly, amazon prime works whenever it feels like it and the picture is bleh. At first I wondered if the laggy app and remote issues were a connection problem until we got the same exact TVs at my work (not by my recommendation) and they have the same exact problem. Also, pandora stopped working a couple weeks ago and I’ve just given up trying to listen to music. I’m now limited to Netflix and Hulu since no other apps want to work. I bought this pile of hot trash 4 months ago. I miss my old Vizio.

Purchased as part of Black Friday sale and must say this tv is definitely a great budget buy. As a Black Friday tv, there are two things you should note: 1) the tv only has two hdmi inputs & 1 optical out. Though you can just use the optical out, if you plan on utilizing hdmi arc for bitstreaming content in Dolby digital you might want to get a 4k hdmi switch along with the tv. & 2) the HDR effect is not stellar when lights are one, which may be due to light sensor on the front of the tv (don’t put your soundbar in front of your tv). Overall, a great budget 4k tv from a reputable manufacturer.

This is my first smart TV, so I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I am extremely happy with the purchase, the picture is great, even if you are not watching in 4K, it has good sound, and for the most part, the apps work without buffering. I do opt to use my FireTV since the only app I have issues with is the DVR portion of my DirecTV. That is slow and buffers a lot when I try to watch the cloud DVR. I am guessing the processor in this Samsung model is not as current as my Fire TV processor. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone that has never purchased a Smart TV and is on a budget.
