I bought this TV as a gift to my older brother. Over all great quality and sleek design that compliments the aesthetic in his apartment. Set up was a breeze and done within 30 minutes of unboxing.

This is my second Samsung Frame TV. The 2021 version works great so I thought I would buy a second tv and thought why not get the newer version.....newer must be better. I love to display my own photos from a USB drive when not watching TV and the old version allows a simple way to establish a slide show where I can set the time each photo displays and have them display either in order or randomly. The new system isn't working right now and I have spent hours with Samsung trying to figure out why not. Yesterday the controls to set the slide show popped up and I was able to set them but now that control seems to not be available. I'm sure that the controls are there somewhere but they are just way too hard to find. Save yourself some money....buy the 2021 version which is still available.

1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be hindering performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.

The TV itself is excellent. The options for different artwork to display are great and the ease of use is as expected for a Samsung TV. The only opportunity for improvement is the hanging hardware, as I feel it could be engineered to make it easier.

The TV does it's job. I don't bother with Tizen. I recommend hooking up a streaming box instead.
Mounting is straightforward.
Picture quality is meh for the price, but the trade off is worth it if you prioritize decor over a quality home theater experience.

Very nice TV, but it developed dead pixels within just a few days after installation. Thought it might just be a calibration issue or, perhaps, I could ignore it, but no...
Contacted Best Buy and was transferred 3 times only receive this chat message:

Great device for the first 24 hours. After that connectivity becomes a really annoying issue. So it’s difficult to upload your art into it, which renders it useless if you don’t intend to use it as a tv. Samsung get it together!. I’ve never had an issue with any Samsung product til I bought this frame tv.

Setting up my photos in the art section of the smart things app has been nothing but an ultimate nightmare… consistently says no network connection yet everything else is working fine..and when you Google it many many other people have the same issue and nobody can seem to help from Best Buy or Samsung
We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing with your SmartThings app. If your TV status failed to add your device or does not respond to an action in your SmartThings app, you might want to try the following steps:
• Make sure both devices are connected to the same local network. The phone and TV must be connected to the same network as your router to be discovered by the app. • Refresh the device using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list. • Delete and re-add the device on the SmartThings app.

Excellent purchase. It went well and the staff were so helpful in answering questions, as well as loading.
