    Solid tv and looks great outside. Wish a tv of this price came with more accessories or even a cover as standard. Other reviews point to an issue with the sun so a cover seems like something standard, not $250 add on.

    This smart tv is lacking when it tries to work with Alexa. The sales rep Fred at citrus mall assured us that this tv would do everything we needed with a fire cube. The installers could not make this happen. Perhaps Best Buy should educate the sales department so there is not grave disappointment at the customer end.

      Thank you for your experience with built-in Alexa functionality on your Terrace TV. Please know that voice commands may differ with each voice assistant. For more information about the usage and settings of Amazon Alexa, run Amazon Alexa Settings. Go to: Settings > General > Voice > Amazon Alexa Settings

      When the TV is far from you or the ambient noise is too loud, the TV may be unable to recognize your voice. For the best results, you will need to be within 10 feet of your TV. Please look at your TV screen and speak.

      If you haven’t already, we recommend turning on the Voice Wake-up function as well. Press the microphone button on your remote, then go to: Explore Now > Settings > Voice Wake-up.

      You may also want to try re-pairing your remote to your TV by doing the following:
      1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds.
      2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
      3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

    The TV DOESN’T work! Have scheduled for a replacement to be delivered and installed on 11/25. This has led to confusing telephone/text conversations. I don’t know if the 11/25 date is still valid or not.

    Don't waste your money

    This TV cost $3,500 and the screen stopped functioning in 10 months. Samsung will not honor the warrantee, and Best Buy will not stand behind the product they sold us. DO NOT BUY this TV. We paid $3,500 for a product that we cared for meticulously and kept covered at all times when not in use. This $3,500 television is now very expensive garbage. Do not recommend purchasing this TV - it's not designed to be outdoors and should not be marketed and sold as such. Would not purchase this or anything else from Best Buy again.

      Thank you for your review of The Terrace TV and for sharing your experience. Please know that The Terrace Partial Sun TV is designed for use in partial shade, with exposure to indirect or ambient sunlight only. To ensure proper performance, the TV screen should not be exposed to any direct sunlight. If the TV screen is exposed to direct sunlight, it can develop dark areas.

      Despite the IP55 and IP56 ratings, your TV and remote control are not impervious to water damage in any situation. To help prevent damage to your products, avoid the products being subjected to:
      • Water projected by a source greater than 6.3 mm against enclosure from any direction or submersion in water.
      • Water projected at greater than 30 KPa (4.4 PSI) with a water volume greater than 12.5 liters/minute for more than 3 minutes and extreme weather conditions.

      Please know our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, noncommercial use of this product, and does not apply to fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature that may incur damage.

    Had the TV less than one year. Mother board is now shot. Could not last one winter in Wisconsin outside. Would not buy again
