But to bring down the prices, Samsung has stripped out some of the best aspects of the better QLED models. Instead of full-array backlight and local dimming, it uses LED edge lighting. It avoids most of the haloing and backlight issues seen on backlit TVs, but if you were to compare it side by side with the Q9FN, you'd definitely see the difference.
