So Far, so Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Samsung 65" 4K TV to replace a 60" Samsung 4K that I was very pleased with until the panel started having pixel issues two weeks after my warranty ran out. After calls to Samsung (no help) I spoke with their local recommended tech and sent a picture of the problem to him. He told me that the panel was bad and the repair cost was probably more than the TV was worth. I then called Best Buy (helpful) and discussed my options for other manufacturers, etc. In the end, it was clear that Samsung was the best option for the money. After comparing prices at other outlets, I decided to take the leap of faith and purchased another Samsung from Best Buy (the choice was aided by their great customer service both nationally and locally). The difference this time around is that I also purchased a 5-year warranty from Best Buy since the quality control of today's manufacturing makes it way too easy to get burned. It helped ease the pain that the Best Buy price for the extended warranty was reasonably priced and, given my past TV history, cheap insurance.

I did put the color setting on the movie setting after reading other reviews. We have bought at least five Samsung TVs and love them! My concern is the sturdiness of the legs. I cannot put this on a wall so the legs hold it up on a large television stand. The instructions mention adding some support wires from the wall. My TV is in a corner so that is not practical. I wish Samsung had come up with a better support option. If it is going on a wall, it is great!
