I can't get the picture to be better than my old plasma. HDR content doesn't look that impressive and SDR content is abysmal. Almost returned it until I found a website to calibrate the tv. Now it is a tad better. If it wasn't for my wife who insist on a 65" and our budget restriction does not allow any other choice, I would return it. It is just ok.

Please know that this TV offers several preset picture modes for easily optimizing your viewing experience.
Please go to: Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode to choose from the below
1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
2) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
4) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.

In addition, please know that the quality of the image on your screen depends on your source and connection.
HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4K content will provide the best picture quality.
The quality of your streamed content depends largely on the speed of your internet as most content providers have adaptive streaming that will automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.
