Maybe some settings are not right. Little awkward changing inputs. It really doesn't seem any better than our 12 year old TV that went out.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q70A TV. If the picture you are seeing out-of-the-box is not to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

Mid-Range is Finally Good Enough

The only minor complaints are that the brightness doesn’t get very bright (reflections will distract), and any viewing that isn’t directly on-center will make black look a little washed out. But unlike the higher-end models, at least this model doesn’t have local dimming and thus won’t have a blooming effect in high-contrast scenes (or around subtitles). It’s not the world’s greatest TV, but for the price it’s definitely one of the best values on the market.

If you think you'll be able to watch two things at once like Picture-in-Picture, it's very, very limited. You can't watch two apps at once, you can't even watch one app and also cast your Samsung phone! You can't even plug in a computer with HDMI and also watch streaming apps. The only "two screens" I can get is the built-in Samsung TV app (lots of old or weak shows) and my mirrored phone (Galaxy S series). Disappointing because I (and others) would like to be watching say ESPN+ and MBL sports or Peacock Premier League football at the same time - not with this TV. If you don't want PIP, this a good TV; if you do, look elesewhere.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Multi View feature, which allows you to display two things at once on your TV. For example, you can view media from different sources, such as an app, Blu-ray player, or game console, on the main left screen, while also mirroring your phone to the smaller screen. Only 1 HDMI-connected device can be used at a time. For example, on the left screen: You can play Samsung TV Plus, TV apps, HDMI devices, Antenna or Cable, or USB devices. On the right screen: You can screen mirror, use AirPlay, cast from an app, or cast from an IoT camera.
