    Well, our last Samsung big screen TV lasted 15 years, probably half of which weren't intensive use but the other half was all-day use. So we bought this Saumsung. Got it home but were immediately disappointed with the blurred images of rugby players when they ran. Nothing special about the display, and the sound was tinny-sounding when heard from other rooms. Too bad. We sent this one back. Opted for OLED LG and VERY happy with that purchase.

    Its a good tv but it obviously needs hd connections and hd viewing services in order for it to look the way it does in the store...fyi.

    All the bad reviews are right. I just got this TV a few days ago and im 50/50 on it. The over all picture is great but theres one HUGE draw back. The Blacks on this TV sucks. When watching it on full screen everthing looks on, but when watching a 4K movie everything is extra dark so you can barely see or extra gray and that takes away from the movie. Ill try the next one up.

      Hi Roy1911,

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70A TV and for sharing details of your image quality. To ensure your picture is always optimized, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1901.0 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
      1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
      2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
      3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
      4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
      5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.
