Great TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is awesome! I’ve used it for about a month now, and I have no complaints at all. It looks great from nearly all angles and in all lighting situations. The sound quality is about as good as you’d expect from any slim TV: not amazing, but certainly good enough if you don’t need it to be extremely loud. It has deep blacks, great viewing angles, and the tiny OneConnect cable is extremely impressive. The picture quality is outstanding! I watch a lot of Netflix in 4K HDR and the quality is unbeatable. The colors are amazingly vivid. And, as a smart TV, Netflix and all the apps I would ever want to use are already built in. As far as the overall TV is concerned, it’s extremely sleek. The thin bezels are a silvery gray and look fashionable. It looks minimalistic and classy. I don’t have anything negative to say about it. Very happy with the purchase!

Love this TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV picture quality is absolutely stunning. I can definitely tell the difference between this and our older 4K TVs. Ever since my husband installed this in our Loft, we seem to be using this TV more than the living room TV which is less than a year old. The colors are amazing. One remote controls all the devices attached to it and I feel very comfortable using the interface. I was a little skeptical about this purchase but now, I am quite happy. This is the best TV we owned in terms of picture quality, build quality. We are still waiting for Samsung to release a no gap mount to mount it on the wall.

Great picture, Led 's best so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased the Q90 Nov 29,2019 and so far I'm not disappointed. The picture is supper bright and clear, and the blacks are great for an LED. Also very little back ground glare if at all any. Off axis view is very very good . Their was some motion blur out of the box, (See settings below for correction ). the sound is JUST OK but not terrible for TV speakers ,but much better than my older TV. But I can't say enough about the picture quality , and that was my main focus. to tone down the brightness if you find the picture to bright ,,here's some suggestions I set picture mode to (Movie mode) and Their is some motion blur out of the box so I had to turn off ( auto motion plus ) and to correct or tone down some of the over saturated colors If you find them to bold I set back light to 50%, brightness 0,, contrast 47, sharpness 0, color 25, tint 0, (digital clear view auto) (local dimming High), (contrast enhancer off or low.) All the above I found on you tube so I can't take credit. Now you might like the way it looks out of the box ,and once again The colors blew me away when I first turned the Q90 on ,so this is just my opinion. I did go back and forth between sony A8g/or A9g but after much time researching I felt I did not want to worry about burn in or ghosting. Maybe when they correct that problem in the near future ,then I will consider OLED'S as their picture is the best no doubt. But this Samsung produces a really great picture and bright colors .My ony main complain is their is no Dolby vision, They are using HDR/HDR+ Wish they would have incorporated that in this model .

Nice addition to living room
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has a great picture and has been a great to watch sports, movies and shows. I took one star off because i wish it didn’t have a clear wire that comes down from the tv and plugs into the Samsung box.

Q90R
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the Q90R for two day’s. The factory TV settings are slightly off. After using some professional recommended settings the picture is beautiful. I feel this is the best QLED that Samsung has ever made. This is not a cheap TV after having it for only two days I now understand why.The colors are beautiful, black levels are good.

Guilt Free Binge Watching!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has me hooked! It almost feels luxurious sitting on the couch all day binge watching out favorite shows. Set up took us no longer than 30 minutes, if that! Comes with a very sturdy stand but we opted to mount it. Picture quality is absolutely stunning, anything from a dramatic show to a cartoon looks great! On top of that, the picture changes for the amount of light in a the room at the time of watching the TV. So no worrying about the picture being too dark in the daylight or too bright at night. One of the coolest features is the Ambient setting, which you can choose from a bunch of different visuals that almost look like art installations! Perfect for when guests are over or I have even used it when I am reading a book and want the ambient setting in the background. Another cool feature is the OneConnect box which makes everything easier and looks great. Instead of all kinds of cords hanging out from the back of the TV, there is just one!

Jaw dropping picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit anxious about purchasing an OLED because of all the horror stories concerning OLEDs and burn in. Jeremy, the salesman, said he owned an OLED and the safety OS that is already in place to prevent burn in when you purchase the TV have cured the problems that plagued OLEDs in the past. I researched on line and discovered that Jeremy was 100% correct. OLEDs have been available for 5 years and LG took advantage of the time frame to solve the image retention and burn in. One would have to work really hard to get burn in. I would encourage anyone watching TV in a room with a lot light, purchase an UHD LED model. The best "WOW" picture with colors that pop is a dark room. OLEDs pictures tend to lose there incredible contrast in bright rooms, but they really give you a "killer" picture in a dark room. They no longer require thousands of dollars to own. Their price has dropped way down. The common person can now own an OLED. The days of the high income requirement to own an OLED have "left the building".

Top of the line
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the first Samsung 4K TV when it came out a number of years ago (and then later upgraded the Connect One box on that unit to gain the latest features). I have been very satisfied with that 55" unit, but wanted to move to a 65" unit, so I considered this Q90 in addition to the Q900 (8K). In the end, I opted for the 65" Q90 - primarily for its QLED features. The performance is great and I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I'll now move the 55" Samsung to the basement since it will have many more years ahead of it - as will this new Q90 unit...

Samsung isn’t so great anymore
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned nothing but Samsung my entire adult life. This TV is the most disappointing purchase I’ve made. First off the TV comes with ad that you cannot get rid off. Very obnoxious to deal with. The TV also freezes up from time to time. The remote isn’t always reliable and will sometimes quite responding. If it wasn’t for the picture quality I’d rate this lower. When I spend several thousand on a TV I expect it to work properly and not fill my home bar with advertisements. Personally I will never purchase another Samsung product again as long as they are forcing advertisements on consumers.

Great TV, poor quality control
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 75" and 65" q90r. Great picture quality. Gorgeous color, deep blacks, and bright peaks in SDR and especially HDR. It's the best picture I've seen on a TV. But I have moderate DSE on the 75" and bad DSE on the 65" that's hard to unsee. It seems there's still a panel lottery on these sets.

High end TV - High end problems. Not-impressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv display is beautiful but that is where it ends. Very difficult to setup and run. Not fully setup still. Called Magnolia and they said they could walk us through any setup issues. We called in and they could not get the setup fixed. Our set requires us to turn on external boxes that should be turned on by the “Smart” device. Biggest problem with it is it cannot stream shows from either BritBox, Amazon Prime or sometimes Netflix. After a few minutes streaming stalls. Have to restart it will restart where it left off. Over and over again. Called techs again. Said it was the streaming service. I tried to stream through my phone, that uses Wi-Fi connectivity and it works fine. It’s not the service. I called in to Samsung but the callback rang twice and hung up. Called five times and got through once, they said they would setup a service tech to come out and they never called back to set it up. I need this unit replaced. This is not like Samsung. I only have ever bought a Samsung tv but the service end has really broken down on this one. I paid too much to just ignore this. This Smart TV is not so smart.

Terrible Auto Motion
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV does not provide a clear and sharp picture with Auto Motion “on” or “off” for fast action motions, example: 4K movie fast action car chases, or close up of a older mans face with defined wrinkles when he moves his head side to side fast, the defined wrinkles become blurred regardless of settings. Called Samsung tech help and they were useless.

It died after 2 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely loved this TV but sadly it died after 2 years. Suddenly, no picture. The backlight comes on, and the sound works, but the picture is black. It now boot-loops endlessly. Will not turn off, just turns itself on and off forever until it's unplugged.
