The Clearest TV I’ve Ever Owned!

After using this TV, I am extremely impressed. From the moment I saw this device being unloaded from the delivery vehicle, I knew I was in for a treat! The first thing I love about this TV is how easy it was to assemble. All I had to do was screw two parts together (one part to the TV and then the TV to the actual stand). This allowed me to start enjoying my device within minutes. The next thing I love about this TV was how simple the setup process was. I simply plugged the TV in and was taken step-by-step through the process by connecting it to my Samsung account. The next thing I loved about this TV (once I got it all set up) was how clear and vivid the picture is. I’ve never owned a TV that had as great of clarity as this device. I can see every water droplet on blades of grass, every wrinkle on characters’ faces, and so many other ultra-fine details! This is definitely not something I’ve been able to accomplish with TV’s I’ve owned in the past. The color of the picture is ultra-rich and is very bright. It almost feels like I’m watching TV in a movie theater because of how colorful this screen is! The audio is also super impressive (almost as good as the picture quality). I can hear the finest notes and sounds as my content is playing. The audio seems like an even balance between clarity and bass. I don’t even have any additional speakers hooked up to the TV because of how great the sound is! The next noteworthy feature is how “smart” this TV actually is. It has an “auto-adjusting” capability that adjusts the picture to the lighting of the room. This is great for when I’m watching TV mid-day and the sun is coming through my windows. In terms of the actual functions of this device, as with all its other features, it amazes me! I have access to all the latest apps with this TV including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Showtime, and so many others! In terms of how easily streaming takes place, the TV seems to flawlessly open my desired apps and load content right away. The construction of this TV is also extremely impressive. The stand is constructed of super heavy-duty metal and is quite heavy in terms of weight. The only disadvantage of this TV is that occasionally, depending on the lighting, you can see a slight “rainbow effect” from the light rays bouncing off of the screen. This can be slightly annoying. However, it’s typically only noticeable when the TV is off. So, it’s not a huge deal. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this TV. It offers every feature I could ever want and offers a best-in-class viewing experience. If you’ve been looking for an upgrade to your TV and want to get the most from your favorite TV shows and movies, look no further! This TV offers everything you could ever want and more! Coming From Q80R to the Q90T - WOW

I debated long and hard on which TV to get for 2020. For me, like many i'm sure, came down to the LG CX vs the Q90T. I needed a new TV because the 80R from 2019 (which I loved) was going into the bedroom. After much research and deliberation, I stuck with Samsung and I'm glad I did. I'm sure the CX probably has more accurate colors overall and deeper blacks, but I absolutely LOVE the vibrancy and pop the 90T has. And the black levels compared to the Q80R from last year are noticeably better and the best I've ever seen in a LCD TV. I don't own a Q90R but I've seen plenty in person and the 90T doesn't take a step back at all in my mind in this area. It's simply amazing what it can achieve.
Some other things about this TV worth mentioning is the responsiveness in gaming. It's amazing. Idk if I'm crazy or not but when playing Xbox One X with VRR/Freesync on, it feels noticeably smoother than my 80R which was great itself. Spec wise from rtings.com would suggest this shouldn't be the case, but I've went back and forth and this thing feels buttery smooth playing shooters. Almost as fast as my 165hz gsync monitor when I game on PC. It's amazing. ALSO, i feel it is important to note that I'm not getting any ghosting while gaming. I didn't on my 80R either. I honestly feel top to bottom that there isn't a better TV for gaming than the 90T when it comes to responsiveness, smoothness, gaming features, VRR, Freesync Premium, Low Framerate Compensation (LFC), HDMI 2.1, and much more. It has exceeded expectations so far in this area and I'm a BIG gamer.
I also love the eARC. I paired this TV with the new Sonos Arc and Sub. This is my first Atmos Soundbar and man am I impressed. What an upgrade from an old regular Samsung soundbar from 2015 that I had paired with the 80R. It's breathtaking with the way the sound fills the room and feels like it's coming from all directions.
I also love the interface/menu. My Q80R has Tizen 5.0 operating system whereas the 90T has Tizen 5.5. It's not a major upgrade but being able to have so many more apps on your home screen/home bar is very convenient now that they resized the icons. It was a little sluggish at first navigating through the menu, but I'm guessing it's because I was downloading up all the apps, since then and especially since I've hardwired it to my router, it's been basically butter smooth and you can tell some speed improvements overall with the new processor vs the 80R which is nice. Upscaling seems better overall than the 80R as well as minor improvements in motion.
Quick mention/bug is that I've noticed sometimes when I start up a movie from my Blu-ray player or a game on Xbox One X, the screen goes black for a bit (like 20 seconds or so) and then it comes back on once the game or blu-ray movie has loaded? It's weird and I'm guessing it's a firmware bug? I know it isn't my HDMI cables. It doesn't happen every time but it's worth mentioning so hopefully Samsung sees this and can offer further clarification.
I'll wrap this up by saying my last 3 TV's have all been Samsung (prior to that I was a Sony guy). I've had hardly any problems with any of them. I had a 2016 KS8000 before the 2019 Q80R and now the 2020 90T. I know if I had went with the CX I would've gotten the extended geek squad warranty to cover the possibility of potential burn in. By the time you add the warranty in, I was going to end up paying close to $500 more. That played a key part in my decision as well as knowing myself and how I would always worry/baby the OLED. I didn't want that worry. I want to use my TV's like I always have which is to never think twice about it. And even if there's only a 5% chance of getting burn in, it would always be on my mind. With that being said, I love this 90T. I wasn't expecting much of an upgrade coming from the 80R, but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I enjoy a brighter/more vivid image anyway and IMO it is without a doubt the best LED/LCD 4K TV of 2020 and a TOTAL beast.

The Q90T QLED TV is an overall exceptional appliance. It comes with nearly every feature that you could imagine and every streaming service you could possibly need. Upon set up, I was worried while going back and forth with my cable company about scheduling delivery for a new cable box, and was shocked to find out that this TV could easily hook up to the app and I was able to avoid any extra steps to get my cable hooked up to my new tv just in time for the NFL season. This tv is so simple yet has great quality and could flow well into any room. The appliance delivers great sound and vivid and vibrant colors for any type of preferred entertainment. The ultra wide viewing angle has been great to watch NBA/NFL games and has left me speechless quite a few times. I’m not too tech savvy, and set up was easy and simple, as well is navigating through apps and streaming services with this system. I’m overall pleased with this purchase and will 10/10 recommend the same TV to my friends and family .

The Samsung 65 Q90T QLED TV is an impressive unit that had my jaw on the floor with it's stunning picture clarity and vivid colors. I have seen this TV in retail stores and electronics expos, but seeing it in my own home was truly something to behold. This QLED TV is without a doubt the best that money can buy. The style and looks of this TV set are impressive with a brushed graphite look frame/border that has an upscale look to it. The back of the TV is flat and doesn't arc out. The pedestal stand is how I have it positioned on an entertainment console. The stand works very well and is great for having smaller footprint in the center of the TV versus having wide feet on the edges of the TV. I also like that I can tuck a soundbar into that small space of the pedestal. The remote feels nice in the hand and the aesthetics are nice. It takes some time to learn the plethora of functions this remote can control with the built in Smart Apps on this TV set. Believe me though, they are easy to use and to customize which apps you want to have easy access to. I love that I can have this unit and don't need to have any other set top boxes to use. I can get certain apps like Apple TV, Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio apps. The software is fast and responsive to my commands. Bixby built into the remote is a great little voice assistant that can make life easier and more productive with your voice commands. I have enjoyed the synchronization that this one remote can control my Samsung Q80 soundbar efficiently as well. The picture is so bright and so clear when you watch a movie or a tv show. I have been loving the clarity and crisp video quality. The 4K movies I'm streaming have been beautiful in HDR10. Colors are vibrant and pop off the screen in a way that you feel like you can put your hand up to the TV and touch the scene. Water scenes and nature scenes have been so realistic at times. Watching TV shows such as football has been so realistic with no blurring motion and precise clarity. The black scenes in dark movies are truly black without being murky gray, and then the contrast of the colors looks so vivid. Hands down this QLED TV won't disappoint for watching entertainment. It's truly an all in one unit that can keep you and your family entertained for hours with it's streaming ability. Best TV that is out there and I didn't quite understand QLED hype until I got to see it first hand.

BEST TV, Feature-Packed, Amazing-Powerful Sound

Overall build quality is excellent. The black background is more enhanced and deeper than the old models. the picture is very pleasant to watch. the wonderful thing is that Q90T does all automatically. it was not necessary to fine-tune under the advanced setting. Setup: Easy, you need to PEEL OFF the screen protective film where small barcodes are attached. This is a very thin & very outer one (like food warps). The manual doesn't describe it clearly and confusing messages on the net. So the installation would be; 1. Take it out from the box and place it where you want to put it 2. peel off two plastic (white) protectors on each side of the screen 3. peel off the outer screen protector, where you see the barcode stickers on the screen Picture Quality: The best so far, refer attached comparison pictures Compare to one-year-old Samsung 4K TV, it is breathtakingly better, black is truly black, with no visible light bleedings on all corners. Color is very even across the screen. Less grainy and more depth in shades & colors. Design: Very narrow outer vessel with a High-quality metallic trim, but, the overall thickness (or depth) of the Q90T is thicker (about 1 inch ). However, it gives a more solid feeling when I set up the TV. The TV looks very handsome and clean look (as for the minimalism). The narrow vessel gives a more immersive TV experience. A distinctive Ambient Mode+ turning the TV into décor, artwork, and other essential information display such as the weather, today's headlines, and more. Audio: It is a huge differentiator, never seen the tv sound this good with 3D effects. Clear and loud, 60w, no need an external speaker/soundbar. Samsung stated that "Active Voice Amplifier analyzes the ambient noise and enhances the voices in the scene so you can hear the dialogue clearly." It is genuinely working and gives a very distinctive sound quality. Smart features and interface: Smart menus: Much improved, easy to navigate, notice several improvements over 2019 models; faster response, and more video formats are supported with the NAS (Network Attached Storage, or your data storage server). The external device connection is made automatically once hook up the HDMI cable; it identifies any changes quickly. We watched several movies, including Hamilton, it was very immersive and enjoyed the great picture quality and sound. For the gamer, this would be the best TV, refresh rate and motions are much better than my 32" WQHD computer monitor.

Got my Samsung Q90T 65 inch TV all hooked up and dialed in! I was eagerly waiting for the delivery which was about a 10 day late with all the fires going on in my area. Since I have been stuck inside my house, this beauty of a display was a much needed moral boost around the house. The picture quality blew me away, Samsung really paid attention to every detail. My favorite little feature is turning the TV on and off which mimics a classic tube tv to give you a little retro modern feel, not the same boring routine turn on and off. Once I turned on the TV for the first time, the setup process was super easy, the best I have experienced from any TV manufacturer. It asked me to download the Samsung Smart things app and helped me set up internet access and cloud backup for my TV setting. The Q90T also asked me to turn on the intelligent picture and sound modes which automatically change picture brightness, color and sound output to match your ambient space characteristics in your living space. This feature is a must when you turn the lights off and the TV self adjusts to the light change and dims the screen for those late night streaming shows. I especially enjoyed watching “Dark” on Netflix as the dark detail and bright scenes really looked great with the 16x dimming zones and QLED technology. The colors on the Q90T really are vivid and feel lifelike. The built in speakers exceeded my expectations with good soundstage and decent bass response. The TV has four speakers built into the back and really get loud and clear, unless you have a dedicated sound bar or home theater, this TV in my opinion has superb sound. Samsung really put thought into a clutter free interface and most importantly and simple yet super functional remote. I love the toggle switches for the Volume and channel on the remote and slim profile. All the buttons are laid out well and super easy to use, I especially like the dedicated Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons. Alexa is built into the TV, I do wish they included google Home. My family loves to enjoy watching youtube music videos especially with the great internal speakers and streaming the Orders on Netflix. Basically anything with HDR looks amazing. Great job Samsung.

This TV is an upgrade from my old TV in size and specs. When unpacking the 65" Class Q90T QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart TV, my husband and I commented on how heavy duty it is and that we finally have a TV for grownups! The stand is extremely high quality - looks like powder coated steel. The TV itself is very sturdy. I upgraded from a 55" to a 65", and the 65" looks amazing in my living room. Our entire family uses this TV for TV Shows, Movies, sports, and online gaming. I enjoy the vivid colors and the intelligence display setting, which makes everything even smarter by adjusting itself. Watching movies at home is a more immersive experience with the QLED 4K UHD display which makes people, animals, and settings look so real. My TV is in my living room, but from an angle, my family can also watch it from the kitchen table. Although we are watching it at an angle, we are able to see everything clearly without glare or gray screen. The sound, especially when gaming - sounds like surround sound, but I highly recommend pairing a soundbar with it to enhance the experience. I was a little disappointed that Google Assistant wasn't available in the settings on my TV, but I was happy to use Alexa instead. The voice assistant choices that were available in my settings were Bixby and Alexa. I tried Bixby, but Alexa works better for me. The remote is sleek and curved - but most important it is easy to use. The remote is simplified, so at first it may seem strange not to have numbers on it, but after using it a few times, I'm extremely happy with the fit, feel and features. Switching sources on my older TV was a challenge to explain to my kids, but with this remote, my 8-year-old can say, "HDMI 3", and the source switches to the PS4 on HDMI 3 with ease. Overall, my family loves entertainment - and we are enjoying entertainment even more with our new TV. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my review

The Samsung Q90T 65 inch TV really is an excellent choice if you are looking for a top of the line TV. Our TV was delivered a week ago, so we've been using it regularly for a week now and have nothing but good things to say. Setting the TV up was incredibly easy; we opted to set the TV on a TV stand, and if this is how you would like to set up, all you really need to set up is two people (to lift) and a screwdriver (to install the stand). All in all, it took less than 15 minutes to get the TV setup and running. When we turned the TV on for the first time, it seamlessly guided us through a setup process with step by step instructions. It automatically recognized any devices connected via HDMI (such as a Blu Ray player, cable box, etc.) and added them to the bottom icons on the home screen. Upon setup, you have the option to create a Samsung account if you don't already have one, or login with your Samsung account if you do have one. This account will store your information and preferences and if you own another Samsung TV, can restore your settings/apps to match this TV. You can also setup the TV to work with either Samsung Bixby voice control or Amazon Alexa. We set up with our Alexa, and can seamlessly have Alexa control the TV, open apps, play songs, etc. It's really neat. The TV home screen has an easy to navigate menu at the bottom of the screen with all apps installed, with the exception of Netflix and Prime Video, which have dedicated buttons on the remote to access. This makes it really easy to navigate and access all of your apps and find exactly what you are looking for. We have used the TV to watch a variety of Netflix content as well as regular TV shows and sporting events. We watched the Netflix original movie "Tall Girl" as well as a few episodes of "13 Reasons Why." Both are available in 4K HDR, and I have to say, the 4K HDR picture on this TV is stunning. I have seen other 4K TVs, and in my opinion, the 4K HDR picture on this TV can't be beat. The regular HD picture displayed on this TV is phenomenal as well; we watched a few games of the NHL playoffs in HD on this TV, and the picture was incredibly crisp; the puck and all play was easy to follow and the players looked life like. It's a perfect TV for watching sports. Finally, for a newer TV, this TV delivers high quality sound, so while a sound bar is always an option, you might find that you don't need one. In summation, this TV is highly recommended if you are looking for a new TV.

I’m so happy with my new Samsung TV since my son threw the fishing rob and broke my old Samsung. I definitely didn’t think twice when i decided to choose Samsung again. With this 65-inch Samsung QLED 4K smart TV, I can enjoy crisp, detailed visuals while watching my favorite programs. The 4K quantum processor delivers bright, accurate images, while Dolby Digital Plus technology offers quality sound. This Samsung QLED 4K smart TV supports voice control for seamless multimedia operation, which is super convenient to search the my favorite shows without typing. Ultra viewing angle helps reduce glare and enhance color, providing a vibrant picture no matter where you sit. Quantum HDR 16X with wider range of brightness and color come together for strikingly vivid and cinematic picture. Two top and bottom built-in TV speakers adjust the sound to follow the action. With 4K Ultra HD, now our family can enjoy breathtaking 4K movies and TV shows at 4 times the resolution of Full HD, and upscale current content to Ultra HD-level picture quality. Samsung Smart TV with access to streaming services for countless entertainment options. The most important thing is that I can manage the viewing experience for your kids. The built-in V-chip lets me block content based on program ratings and check ratings of unfamiliar programs. So what are you waiting for? Samsung TV is a “must choose” TV.

Great tv, one of the best of 2020 despite 2020 not being a banner year for tv's. Had an lg B6 prior which experienced burn-in. No worries of Burn-in with led. Nice black and contrast levels. Great brightness and colors and very good HDR which can really jump compared to Oled but but lacks slightly in contrast and deep blacks. Superb for gaming. Minimum downsides which are minor, only one HDMI 2.1 port, some minor dirty screen effect and blooming can be found if you look hard enough for it. No Dolby vision but Dolby vision basically locks down your tv anyway and you cant change the picture settings so actually not missing it which is a surprise. Much more prefer to adjust or change a picture to preference.

This tv is impressive right out of the box. It has a sleek dynamic design that would look perfect in any room. The remote is a simple ergonomic design and and even so easy to use that my 5 year old can maneuver with ease on it with this tv. The Samsung 65’ QLED has multiple app features built in and you can also add apps. I’m not very tech savvy but I do know that this was a breeze to set up. I can listen to music while I’m cleaning house or watch an amazing picture as I’m watching my favorite sports game. The picture and audio quality on this tv is by far one of the best I have ever owned. It is so clear! The ambience mode is great for evening watching all though it’s not necessary but simply a great feature that this tv offers. My family really enjoys watching movies and with this television it can be real easy to become a couch potato. Overall I am very impressed with Samsung and this product. I couldn’t be happier! I received this fabulous television at a discount for my honest review.

I was looking for a new 65-inch TV with a few key items - 4 HDMI ports, ease of use, good viewing at a slight angle, high enough to accommodate the sound bar and fit securely on the media cabinet.
Seeing this on the display wall with all the other models made it an easy choice. The picture is far and away better. It's brighter and crisper. Others seemed dark and dingy by comparison. The demo pictures were helpful. Since we often watch older black and white movies it's worth mentioning that this brightness does make a movie from the 40's look like a 60's tv show, which was a surprise initially, but easy to get used to.
Connecting a 2 year old Samsung sound bar using HDMI ARC took some online research. The TV was initially set up with an optical cord, which produced good sound but reverted to the TV's speakers from time to time when turning it on, which was an annoyance. Since this was our first Smart TV, I hadn't realized the ARC function was something that needed to be turned on in "settings." Once that was done I was able to use the HDMI ARC functionality, eliminating that problem completely. The picture and sound on movies is great; live newscasts during the pandemic vary greatly as so many are broadcasting from homes rather than studios. This can be noticeable but not an equipment functionality issue.
Being able to plug a streaming stick into a TV port for power wasn't something I was looking for or expecting, but a definite nice to have feature.
Changing source display icons is annoying, as it's difficult to impossible. Hopefully a new firmware update will address this.
The center pedestal is both appealing visually and functional in terms of cord management. The back of the pedestal has channels and hooks for the HDMI cords, and can also keep the power cord out of site from the front.
The Smart remote isn't as smart as one might hope, as it lacks the full functionality of a cable remote and is a clunky substitute for the Roku remote.
Overall, so far it's a good purchase.

Bought this TV as an upgrade to my 2016 Samsung 65 " MU8500 Curved TV. I managed to secure a PS5 on launch day so that motivated me to upgrade to a higher performing TV. I was going back and forth between the Q90T and the CX from LG. The picture on the CX is very nice and I love how thin the OLED screens are. I just was very nervous about the potential for "screen burn in" that OLEDs are known for so that's what really made my decision a little easier. Plus, I really enjoy the Tizen OS that comes with Samsung. Jumping from my old MU8500 to the new QLED is night and day. The PS5 performs sooooo much better and at the level that it should be performing at with this TV. Below is my current audio/video set up and my pros and cons list:
TV- Samsung 65" Q90T
Audio- Bose Sound Bar 700/Bass Module 700/Wireless Speakers
Gaming- PS5
Cables- AudioQuest Forrest 4K 2.1 HDMI Cables
Pros:
- Color/Brightness
- Tizen OS
- Remote
- Easy Setup
- eARC
- Must have for next gen gaming systems!
- Finally got my Bose SB 700 HDMI to work seamlessly with zero issues using the supported eARC port!
Cons:
- The stand is super heavy!!
- Can wobble/shack when using the stand
- No cable hole(s) drilled out of the stand to allow cables to run through. Especially when using a sound bar.
- The area to insert your cables on the back of the TV doesnt really work. Needs one specific size for it to work properly.
- Screen is a little thick
- Pretty heavy in comparison to other LED TVs
- Only 1 HDMI 2.1 port
- The "Samsung" logo doesn't illuminate like older premium models.
All in all i really do love this TV. It was a HUGE upgrade from my previous Samsung model. Pairing this with a next gen gaming system like the PS5 is a must!! The colors and brightness is amazing, especially when watching sports. The OS is super easy to navigate and the setup is a breeze. Would definitely recommend upgrading your HDMI cables to 4K 2.1 to get the optimum audio/video performance. It was a tough decision between this and an OLED but NO SCREEN BURN IN!! Definitely recommend!!

This TV is amazing, hands down. We are still in awe of the picture quality 3 months after purchasing this TV. HDR content from Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video and Youtube are just unreal. This TV a wide viewing angle full array, so you are able to view content without any loss of detail from different angles. Gaming on my PS4 pro is mind blowing especially games that support 4K. Can't wait to experience the PS5 with this TV. Overall, I'd give a 9/10. Took off a point for its dirty screen effect when viewing bright, fast moving frames although its not something you notice when you are not aware of the issue, so just forget about it. I'd recommend just buying this TV because you'll be happy you did.

The 65" Q90T comes in a large box but was easy to remove. Mounting it on the wall totally changed the look of my entertainment room. I have been on the hunt for a device that can easily control all of my different components and this is the one!
Unboxing and TV setup were very easy and quick to get through. To sign in on many apps you can just scan the QR code from the camera on your phone and sign in there without using the on-screen TV keyboards.
The remote is very simple and makes the TV very easy to operate. Hunting through shows or typing on the keyboard is quick and easy to use. I really like how easy it was to connect to the SmartThings app and how much of the TV can be controlled from there.
Bixby works surprisingly well for a TV voice assistant and it is nice that Amazon Alexa can be used as well directly from the remote. Google Assistant works as well but you will need the Google Assistant app on your phone or a Google Home speaker.
Watching anything on this TV is a wonderful experience. Super rich colors, very deep blacks, and an extremely sharp display. There are many different display options to make it totally personalized to your viewing preference. Having smart apps built-in to the TV provides a very high-quality picture.
The speakers on the TV are the best built-in speakers I have heard and give enough sound for typical TV watching. I use an audio receiver for sound and I couldn't believe that I could set the remote to control the volume on my 12-year-old receiver. This means we only need one remote to control the entire entertainment system! I have been looking for a solution for years and I finally have an answer.
I only have two issues with the TV. First, if you have lights reflecting or pointing at the TV it does cause an interesting steak across the TV. Turning off the lights or repositioning them fixed the issue. Second, when navigating through the TV menu the interface becomes a bit sluggish. This only happens every so often but you are still able to navigate without any issue.
I am incredibly impressed by the capabilities of the Q90T. Not only has it simplified the TV viewing experience, but it has delivered a movie theater-like experience I never thought I would have in my own home.

Finally got this thing mounted today. Straight out of the box this tv is a quality build. The back is sleek and the mount area is free of anything that would get in the way of mounting this. The power cable routes nicely through a channel on the back so you can get it to the center of the TV to meet up with all the other cables you have hooked up. The picture quality is excellent! The viewing angles on this TV are the best I have ever seen. We have this mounted on the wall and no matter where you are in the room, the picture is crystal clear with only a slight fade if your directly even with the side! Incredible! The picture color settings look to be set in various ways for most people to find one they like right out of the box. We are using standard (with all the eco and smooth motion stuff shut off). The sound is also surprisingly good for a thin QLED. I messed with the sound on the TV for a bit and found it above average. We use a soundbar and subwoofer so I switched it to that after playing with the built in sound. One thing we did have to do when switching to the soundbar is go to the settings and adjust the delay. The sound was way off from the picture (I think it was defaulted to 100). We basically turned it down to 0 and everything was good. Smart Features: So far what we have used has worked pretty good. Better than some other manufacturers but still not as good as stand alone devices. The remote is simplistic but does everything you need it to do. We also like the ability to use Alexa. Some tid bits: We really liked the fact they packaged this TV with a screen protector with harder plastic pieces on the edges. That made it amazing to hang as you didn't have to be as careful about getting your fingers all over the screen. Once hung you peel all that off and its pristine! Another thing of note, the stand (even though we didn't use it) is the definition of "heavy duty" I think most of the weight of the box was the stand! So far we are very pleased with this TV and will post updates as time goes on.

After one week of using the 65" Q90T QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart TV from Samsung, I can't go back to watching a regular TV. Picture Quality - This TV is very bright and colors are crisp, clear, and true straight out of the box. It comes with pre-set modes such as 'gaming', 'movie', etc. I find the 'standard' setting the best for every day use and did not need to go into advanced settings to adjust settings. As I use this TV in a room with large windows and lots of ambient light, the high brightness and contrast, as well as the anti-glare coating on the screen has made my viewing experience very enjoyable. Operating System - This TV comes with Apple AirPlay and I can stream my Apple laptop or iPhone straight to the TV on screen-mirroring, or use the TV as a giant secondary display. This has helped make my AppleTV redundant and that device is now looking for a new home. Youtube, Netflix, Amazing Prime, and a host of streaming applications come pre-installed. All I needed to do was log into my accounts and I was ready to go. One thing I did notice was when watching dark movies with subtitles on, the localized dimming option causes the white text to be extra bright on the screen and is a bit distracting. This was easily fixed by turning localized dimming to 'low' setting. Remote - The smart remove was ergonomic and easy to use. It comes with dedicated buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime to 'quick launch' those applications. I also downloaded the Samsung QLED companion app on my iPhone and used the application as a secondary remote. It really helps when I misplace my remotes and I can now use the app. Overall - I am quite impressed with this TV. The picture quality is amazing and it has all the bells and whistles I'd want in a smart TV. I no longer have use for an Apple TV box or Chromecast as everything is built in on this TV. I would highly recommend this product, especially for a room with lots of ambient light due to the TV's high brightness and contrast settings

When I unpacked this TV, it had such a premium look and feel. The metal stand and brushed metal look around the sides of the bezel. Outside of the Samsung logo at the bottom you can barely tell there's a bezel looking at the screen. Unboxing and setup was easy, with helpful cable management hiding the cords. The remote has a simple layout but offers plenty of control in a comfortable form factor. It's awesome that they added dedicated Netflix and Prime buttons. I used the Smart Things app on my phone for setup, it pulled my settings from the cloud. After a few minutes I was watching live TV. Seriously... I cannot get over the picture quality. Dark scenes are very detailed so you don't miss anything and bright images are vibrant yet not washed out. The Q90T handles motion very well especially fast-moving sports and movies scenes. Ambient mode is such a great ideal, when the TV isn't in use it's not just a blank space; it's art in motion or an advanced clock. The interface is snappy and smooth when toggling between settings or apps. All major streaming services are installed or available for download. The new Samsung TV streaming app has a ton of content for free. Gamming is intense with the vivid colors and ultralow latency mode. My system noticed that the TV had advanced image settings and recommenced I enable them, boom what a difference in reaction time! My takeaway is this premium set lives up to its price point, enjoy! I was skeptical when my husband got this TV - as I didn't want to learn how to operate another system. It was actually so easy to use. The remote is simple and the menu works like a giant smartphone. The picture is amazing. Everything is so clear. I really love the way it integrates with Amazon Prime, YoutubeTV and Apple TV. Our family uses all of these, so making it streamlined is important to us.

It’s been two weeks since I unboxed Q90T 65” and I’m still impressed by the quality and features.
Since I already had Samsung account and Smartthings the setup went pretty straight forward. After connecting it to Wifi it took few minutes to install few apps. I’ve tried few apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Plex and they work flawlessly and load instantly.
In order to truly appreciate the picture quality you need to play 4K HDR content or play some video games. Q90T is one of the best I’ve ever seen when it comes to color representation. It adjusts brightness depending on the room light situation.
One of my favorite features is Smarthings integration, I’m able to monitor and control all my smart devices around a house. I was pleasantly surprised to see notification on the screen when a dishwasher was ready. In addition it has a build in Amazon Alexa, so voice commands are more convenient. Google Assistant should be released in a near future.
Oneremote works great and the TV detects HDMI sources automatically. I only wish the remote was made from metal instead of plastic. Back inputs are conveniently located, although with this high end model a oneconnect box would be even better, instead of back connectors. Power cord is a little to short, but since it’s standard it can be replaced.
Overall top end TV with lots of smart features and amazing picture quality.
