MY BEST TV YET!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say this new Q90T is my best TV yet! It was by far the absolute easiest set up on any TV I've ever owned and the picture is stunning! The whites are pure white and the blacks are solid black, no saturation at all! Even the sound is great, which typically isn't the case on a think TV like this! I also love that it comes with Amazon Alexa already built in. That's a huge plus since I use Alexa for everything. If you're a gamer, the gaming mode on this will blow your mind! The graphics are over the top good! This TV is a home run !!

Amazingly Lifelike Picture!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. And just like that I am in love . . . with the television I didn’t know I needed until I got it! I thought the television I had was good until I was given the opportunity to purchase the Samsung Q90T 65-inch television at a discounted rate for my honest review. I thought . . . why not give it a whirl?! Set up couldn’t have been easier. The rectangular stand attaches to the television with 8 screws and takes minimal effort; it also holds my soundbar perfectly! For the obsessed neat nick . . . the back of the television features grooves that guide all of the cables to lock into the back of the stand as cable management. You don’t see any cords hanging down from your television. LOVE! The picture is ABSOLUTELY incredible. Amazingly lifelike. We set it up the night before the first Sunday of NFL Football. You can see every blade of grass. I felt like the players were in my living room the detail was so precise. The whites are crisp and the blacks are rich giving it an amazing picture. You can literally see the wrinkles in players’ jerseys. The Adaptive Picture is also fantastic. Because of the positioning of our Living Room, sometimes we have a lot of natural light and other times it is much darker. The television is constantly analyzing the light in the room to make sure that the picture stays amazing! I also love the Ambient Mode feature of the television. Especially now working from home, I don’t always want the television on but the Ambient Mode feature allows you to select the theme and I love it’s calming tone. I will soon be replacing all of the televisions in my house. It’s a no brainer.

Q in QLED is close enough to O in OLED for me!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best tvs that you can get right now that isn't an oled, but 2000 nits gives an awe-inspiring hdr performance. the tv looked great from even far off center angles. most tvs that have wide viewing angle filters suffer from "blurry" pixels - this does not. Nevertheless, having my mouth drop in awe to the nightvision scenes in the latest call of duty game on xbox one x, or being blown away by the colors in mad max fury road, or having a newfound appreciation for the even clearer now that they're upscaled to 4k in regards to the gorgeous landscape vistas in even non-4k content such as the hobbit film trilogy, the Samsung Q90t QLED 4k HDR10+ UHDTV is absolutely breathtaking and I would say a wonderful alternative to more expensive OLEDs.

Best for bright room.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As close to OLED as you can get but maintain brightness of LCD. I looked at all my options for a new TV and in the end had the Samsung Q70T, Q80T and Q90T. I also looked at the LG CX Oled. I liked the price of the Q70T but the brightness was not as good and no local dimming. The Q80T was originally what I was getting but the additional zones and reflection in a bright room was what pushed moe toward the Q90T. If you do not have a ton of light the Q80T is still a great TV. Even the Q70t is better than most on the market. Finally the LG Oled was nice but concerned about the brightness and image retention it looks like they still have. Setup: Easy. Just mounted wall bracket and went thru a few setup screens. Use: It has a significantly better picture than my previous Samsung 8000 series (2016) 4k. Also the out of box colors are better. The blacks are not OLED/Plasma but really close. 4k HDR is just jaw dropping for the eye’s. Cons: price of 75” is high. Slight rainbow to screen when off. Does not pick up all inputs requiring a manual name.

Everything you'd want
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding picture. This TV replaced a 16 year old Samsung 61" DLP that I had replaced the color wheel on about 5 years ago! It was still looking good but the color wheel died again and I figured it was time to move up! Researched the Samsung models and settled on the 65" QLED Q90T Series. This TV is in a very bright room with large windows. The old DLP had trouble with full sunlight. This QLED is awesome in the sunlight! Bright crisp picture with DEEP blacks! The "Smart" features are very nice to have incorporated into the TV. It also has a super off air tuner that found tons of digital broadcast channels other TVs I have could not. I appreciate the direct connect Ethernet jack as well! It allows any streaming content to be off my WiFi network so it is not competing with my other wireless devices. It has very good sound from the internal speakers. Not Theater like sound but certainly not tiny speaker sound. I would recommend this TV to anyone who appreciates a great picture in a bright room (BTW it is also awesome at night).

4K/120Hz Game Ready QLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a high-end, Series X/PS5 game ready 4K HDR TV with all of the latest features, then this is the best one to get. I heavily compared TV’s for over a week and tried to come to a conclusion on what was the best value for the price. The OLED tv’s are great, but they are still a bit too pricey and they have a moderate chance of burn in, especially with people who game. I am a heavy gamer and this TV checks off all of the features needed. It has VRR, the lowest input lag of any TV at this size, 4K/120hz ready, and an incredible picture. It may not get the super deep blacks as an OLED, but it gets a lot brighter and looks incredible in all uses. I strongly recommend this TV if you are looking for a game ready TV with all the latest features and a great TV for all uses.

Fantastic TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recieved our TV and it was packaged really well. Lots of protection to keep screen safe and secure from damage or scratches. Easy to unpack and setup. Even thought this came with an extremely well made and substantial stand to put it on, we easily attached it to our wall mount without an issue. It is a quite heavy TV but two people can set it up easily on either style mount. As soon as we turned it on we were completely blown away by the clarity and brightness. Loved the built in setup and navigation, was fun to have our TV talk to us and tell us how to set it up. In the past we have always used a Roku to stream but since we have had this tv we have used the built in apps. So far we are pretty happy with them and will continue to use them for most things. Setting up our Vizio sound bar and surround speakers was super easy and we can now control it with our TV remote which is fantastic. TV alone does have great sound quality as well. So many amazing features on this TV and we are still learning about new ones. I love how much you can customize it to your needs and preferences, almost like having a giant tablet hanging on our wall. We can even upload our own photos and display them. Also enjoying the Samsung TV Plus. We have also setup Alexa and so far works pretty well. This tv has everything and more. The clarity is amazing, 4k is beautiful. Can't wait to watch everything on it!! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my review.

Initial Impressions
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had this unit for a couple of weeks - it replaced an older model of the same size. The remote is a marked improvement over previous versions; comfortable, and easy to use w/o looking at it. It was quickly paired with my DirecTv Genie and Yamaha Receiver for flawless interaction. The Game Mode colors needed to be adjusted (much too contrast), but overall the blacks on letterboxing and in-content are great. Still some localized blooming, however, only OLED would be better (and then it's maybe too dark). App selection is great and easy to navigate / add to the Home tools for quick access. Have not missed any popular apps from our household. ApplePlay is great and we've used it a few times for family Kahoot sessions or video game streaming from iPhones and iPads. Thicker overall than my previous version, but not a big issue (we have it mounted on a pedestal stand). Solid option at the 65" size.

Amazing graphics and easy set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I opened my tv a few hours after it was delivered and the set up was quick and easy on my phone via the smart Things app. It was simple to add additional apps to my home screen and I was also able to program my remote to work with my cable box. I appreciate this feature because it's so cumbersome to use multiple remotes. I've never had that before! Once I played around with the remote and learned how to do everything (like access my recordings or the cable guide) my cable remote is in the drawer. Anyway, once I was set up, I started watching my favorite show and I love how crisp and clear the display is. The colors display so beautifully and I appreciate that the picture goes nearly to the edge of the tv so there's no unnecessary frame around the tv. I used the provided stand and it was very easy to assemble. Overall, this QLED is definitely worth it for an "at the movies" feeling- especially since we are unable to go. Also, the sound is awesome. Its like movie theater sound without an external system. I can only imagine how it will be when I'm able to get a soundbar. Finally, I really really love how I can use ambient mode to make my TV blend in with my decor or display art or photos I want it to when I'm not watching TV. It really helps when you want the tv to blend in to the background.

Samsung Lifer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I purchased my first Samsung TV about 15 years ago because they are the leader in picture quality. My 15 year old TV is still going strong so the brand is of good quality. Through the years I have purchased other Samsung TV's for my other rooms and I have been happy with them all. I would like to see the sound quality improved but nothing beats the picture quality. I'm really enjoying the smart TV features. It makes it so easy to find movies. Everything is right there for me to use. I can add apps and customize my app desktop. So far the only thing that I do not like it the coax cable connection on the back is turned sideways. I can see the reasoning behind this for flatscreen TV mounts but it's not practical. The compartment that holds the coax cable should be deeper as it was difficult to tighten the cable with very little room. I've attached a photo for reference. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Excellent sound and clarity; great for apps!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the chance to review a new tv (Samsung 65” Class Q90T QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart TV) as part of a sampling program. This tv is AMAZING. The picture is so clear that watching older shows or movies causes them to look fuzzy. The sound quality is also amazing. I listened to our old tv (three years old is apparently too old) on volume 13 and I listen to this one on 8. The online apps we pay for are actually supported by this tv and they load very quickly. I don't have to turn it on, make coffee, then come back to push another button, take the dog to the bathroom, and then come back hoping it has loaded. Everything is instantaneous, AND it has buttons for both Netflix and Prime Video! So happy with this tv. My son calls it "our super big tv." Best TV ive ever owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received my TV and the box was damaged upon delivery. Unboxing was fairly easy by myself but having a 2nd set of hands will make it much easier. Make sure you have a large flat surface to set the TV in order to get the base on.This WILL require two people. Once on stand, the TV is beautiful. Setup was simple and painless. It picked up my devices except one. I have an LG soundbar that connected fine, but using the optical cable it tends to temporarily lose connection but comes back within a second or two. The picture quality is awesome and the best I have ever had. There was some pixelation watching a show on Netflix but I'm not sure if it was the TV or the network connection. So far I am satisfied with the TV on the 2nd day of watching shows and live sports on it.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an LG CX i was afraid that I wouldn't enjoy this TV. The reason why I switched was due to the brightness of the CX. It wasn't going to be enough for my living room. That tv is meant for moving watching and gaming and a light controlled environment. This TV will perform well in both environments with some slight blooming in dark environments. That is a trade off im willing to put up with. This tvs highlights are much more impressive than the CX. I was expecting the q90t to be more saturated but I don't think it is. They are about the same to me honestly. I haven't calibrated the TV but I'm sure out of the box these two sets aren't far off. At least to me they aren't. This TV has an Autocal function but I don't know how to use it and I'm unaware of the parts ill need. I'll wait a bit before doing so. Anyway this TV handles everything well from sports, movies, game mode picture quality (ghosting not an issue that I've seen), and reflection handling. If you can afford this TV and you can afford the price tag then get it. It is missing Dolby vision and I hate that it doesn't have that. I wish samsung would just adopt it already especially when a company like Vizio has ever hdr format out. Its really selfish and stubborn on Samsung part. It was the main thing holding me up from getting this tv. I would honestly pay a small fee to get DV on my tv. Any way, again you will enjoy this tv. Try it for yourself.

Amazing High End Television
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this Samsung television as I am replacing from an 80 inch lcd tv. The size is smaller with this television but the quality I must say it so amazing. The colors are bright and the picture quality is crisp and sharp. I can not be more amazed. I was skeptical about replace my 80 inch lcd tv with a 65 inch 4k tv but no more am I concerned due to the great quality and I am able to fully utilize the Dolby Atmos technology that I have with my home A/V receiver. I must say Samsung really knows what they are doing with their televisions and other electronics.

I am a Gamer, this is the TV I ultimately bought.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the title states, I am a gamer. I spend a many hours looking at a screen and sometimes long sessions. There are great TV's out there, no doubt, but in the end I will tell you why I went with the Samsung. 1. As mentioned, I game for long sessions and it could be the same game for a long time. The LG CX seems to be the TV every YouTuber will tell you to buy. Talk to real CX or C9 owners that game. Let them tell you about the burn in. OLED is a fantastic option for TV and movies, but awful for gaming and gamers. Burn in is real and it sucks paying ~$2100 to $2700 for a TV to get burn in. Can't do it, won't do it. 2. Visio was going to be my pick. The new Quantum P series was supposed to be amazing. Something isn't right, the TV is nowhere to be found and no reviews. One review from Linus from Youtube and the TV looked awful even though it was an engineering sample. 3. Sony's are great but none of them Support 120 FPS in this price range yet. Maybe with firmware update to some, but I need this now and got it now. I currently own a 49 Bravia 4K still and it is great! It kind of leaves Samsung by default and this was in no way the TV I wanted, but as a Gamer, it made the most sense. Sure, other TV's might have an advantage here or there, but this is a SOLID package and won't disappoint at all. Set up was a breeze with your phone, and getting into the Netflix App and all is a piece of cake. The Speakers way better than expected. I didn't get a chance to set up my sound bar yet and the built in speakers actually THUMP and are crystal clear. My one little knock is the price. Samsung knows they make a quality product and it is reflected in the price. I got the TV on sale when it was $2100. At $2700, this TV is not as attractive. You are paying for the name at that point.

Great picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has the combination of excellent picture uniformity and the smart TV features of Samsung with the small and easy remote control. Besides the HDR bright colors we like the low reflectivity of the screen. It hardly shows the lights behind us thus we keep the lights on while watching. You pay more for those high-end features but it is worth the money if you are not willing to compromise with image quality. We use a receiver with external speakers and an external Apple TV for streaming. The TV is somehow able to turn off the other devices when you turn off the TV. Otherwise, although the remote is supposed to control the other devices we just use them directly as each remote is good at certain features. Besides WiFi I have places a small Ethernet switch connected with a cable to the home router and plugged all devices to it. This is not necessary but it reduces the chance of streaming hiccups. Sound is good but for such a high end TV external receiver and speakers is a better choice.
