WE use this dryer 24/7 at my office and it works perfectly every time. I love that it will automatically shut off when things are dry it has a smart cycle. So it does not continue to run unnecessarily.

It's got a huge capacity and dries well - automated moisture sensors to adjust length of cycle (and updates the countdown clock). Multiple setting are offered, but it doesn't have a specific "Fluff" no-heat option that my wife likes from our old dryer for when after hang-drying clothes and then putting them into the dryer for a few minutes to soften & remove wrinkles. It also doesn't have an inside light - that was a real surprise for us.

Although the unit appears to work fine I was a little dissapointed when the unit was delivered with a dent on top on unit. The worst thing about it was the deliver men left some tape on it as if to hide the damage. Judging from the damage I dont believe it occurred during delivery. We could have lived with but since it was new and we paid a lot of money for I complained and did receive a new one. This time it was inspected before accepting it. A lesson learned to check thoroughly any and all products you purchase.

The dryer has alot of cycles, and dries clothes well in a short amount of time

one month after my dryer went out of warranty I noticed a crack forming inside the font of the drum. it's gotten bigger with use. samsung has offered to pay for parts if I pay for labor. after doing some research online it seems that many people have been having the same issue with this model as well as some of the other samsung models. buyer please beware!! only purchase if you have a home warranty or plan on getting the extended warranty. i'm so disappointed because i normally would pride myself on being samsung loyal.

Just an overall great dryer. I bought the top load washer as well and the pair are fantastic.

I have the Samsung washer and dryer and they are both working well.

This is the perfect combination with the Samsung washer.

We've had this dryer for less than a year before it broke down. The main control board has to be replaced. It is under warranty, but it has been two weeks now and the dryer has still not been repaired. Samsung and their service provider can't seem to communicate with each other. We had two men come to service and couldn't find the warranty information that would pay for their work. Finally, they got it right and now we're waiting on getting the part, and only He knows where that's coming from.

I purchased a Samsung Washer and Electric Dryer Model DV400EWHDWR five months ago. Two days ago the dryer stopped heating. I worked with Samsung tech support and they are unable to resolve over the phone and said they would have second level support call me back within 48 hours. Two days later still no call back. Samsung Ticket number#2118647906. IM less than impressed. Bart/VA
