Q: Will I be able to use the power cord from my old dryer on this model?
A: Yes it can usually be done BUT you will have to remove it from your old dryer and connect it to your new dryer. BB delivery folks are not allowed to do that (probably a liability issue). So if you are comfortable doing that then OK. If you are not then it is well worth the $25 for a new cord.
Q: Can the door be changed to open right to left or left to right?
A: Yes, the door on the DV400EWHDWR can be changed to open from right to left. Instructions for reversing the door can be found on page 21 of the user manual. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
Q: Are the cycle light and the drying light supposed to blink continuously while drying?
A: Yes. Its just telling you what it's doing
Q: brand new and the dryer is leaking water from the bottom
A: You may want to have them come check it out while it's still a new purchase and its gets worse I haven't had that problem I don't think it should be doing that
Q: Is a strong odor normal for the first cycle? If so how to get rid of
A: Maybe ask for an exchange
Q: Where is the dryer vent located?
A: On the back. At the very bottom. Right side.
Q: Not drying the clothes properly
A: you might have a bad sensor???
