Customers often highlight the quiet operation, efficiency, and large capacity of this dryer. However, some users report inconsistent drying performance, requiring longer drying times and potentially leading to unevenly dried clothes. Issues with the touchscreen interface, including freezing and difficulty viewing when stacked, have also been noted. Overall, the dryer receives mixed reviews regarding its performance and usability.

For $1499 you would expect dryer to work more than 1 yr. We bought 12/27/2013 and it broke down 9/9/13. We are in the process of trying to get it repaired as it is still under warranty. Samsung customer service is very difficult to obtain help. It looks like it may take weeks to get it repaired. Again - for $1499 you would expect better quality and better service.

The thing won't finish the wash cycle and gets stuck on "removing suds". After canceling the cycle and starting a "rinse and spin" cycle, it stops completely and has an error code that says it won't drain, call for service. When I called for service, the person I spoke to didn't understand the problem and was argumentative. It took four phone calls and much wasted time to finally get the name of a service company to come to fix it. Not good for a family with kids to be without a washer for at least a week.
