The worse Tv I've ever purchased so far with a two year life expectancy. Oh,and that two years runs concurrent with the two year Geek protection plan. That's what i was told after having this tv for only two years.I have a tv in my house right now going on 15years with no problems. Whatvam i supposed to do with this tv now .What a waist. My advise is don't purchase either the tv or the protection plan so not worth it.

Hello i would like to relay that i have 3 years with this Samsung tv and in my opinion is a very excellent product and dependable. With this device u can use the internet like a pc. Also u can add as many apps as u like and also downloaded. The volume has many settings and is very high plus the images are amazing and has wonderful pixels, there’s no dragging or delays. Many outside devices can be connected via Bluetooth and manually also. The menu is very extensive and many features were added, like sleep/wakeup timer and this tv evens remembers all your searches and files u have been seen even after u turn it off and back on. The stability and frame work are made from a rich material and is very stable plus light weight. In my opinion this have been the best two tv that I’ve had have ever, and mind you i have a 70 and 55 inch of the same model and it has been the trip of my life. So for this reason I would recommend this Samsung tv.

The good news about this TV: (1) price; (2) size of screen; (3) thin profile. The bad (1) speakers; (2) viewing angle; (3) remote. You will not mistake this TV for an OLED or other upscale TV. However, at the price of $599 for 70 inches and a Samsung, that's pretty hard to beat. I'm biased toward Samsung (this is my third one) and the largest screen I've purchased. It's big so you need a big room for it. It's also one of the thinnest profiles you'll find at this price. I use the included stand and the TV is very stable on the stand; no wobbles or strain on the stand. Like most large screen televisions with a thin profile, you'll notice that the quality of the speakers is not that great. I knew that going in from other reviews so I also purchased at the same time a Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer which helps tremendously. You are going to notice that the wider the viewing angle gets, the quality of the picture drops off. If you're like most people who only have 1 to 4 people watching at the same time, this shouldn't be much of an issue as long you're not too far spread out, but you should be aware of it. I also was less than overwhelmed with the remote. You'll find that it works fine with Samsung's apps (lots of apps included and others can be obtained through the onscreen menu) but if you are a cord cutter like me using Hulu +, Sling, or YouTube TV, the remote was not built with them in mind and to me it's cumbersome. It's certainly more than adequate for use with broadcast channels with an antenna. Since I don't have cable, I can't comment on how the remote might work with that setup. At the end of the day, the TV works for me, If you're looking for a large screen TV from a quality maker of televisions at a good price, this should be on your list.

The product was delivered on time. It was packed well and had no damages. Assembly instructions were simple & clear. It took two of us about ten minutes to set it up. Pros -  Great price, Picture quality, Apps & Software, Ease of navigation, Samsung TV channels Cons -  No 5 GHz support for WiFi (Expect UHD but only support 2.4 GHz), No Bluetooth, Only 2 HDMI outlets, Reflective Even though it is a good value for the money considering the price but I will not recommend it to a friend because of no support for 5 GHz band and no Bluetooth (something I expect all new devices should have).

The Samsung line is a staple in my home and family. Their TVs have excellent picture and sound, this one is the same in those regards. The legs that came with the tv are so awkward. They are too wide and make the profile of the tv too low. We thought we would be forced to do the mount with Best Buy...but 270 dollars to mount a TV, no thank you. We looked at stands in Best Buy still not good choices. Happened to be in Target and found on named Sanus with a sturdy base and 70 degree turn radius. We installed the new base with ease and were able to place the 70 inch tv above the fireplace safely without mounting. Usually Samsung’s come with better stand support for the TVs but the need to buy a new support took away one star. The apps are easy to use and download, color and brightness were easy to adjust too right out the box. Speaking of the box I love the new Samsung boxes you just lift them while the TV is upright and it slides right off. Remote control is basic and it doesn’t have RF so you have to point it directly at the spot on the TV for response, but setting up the universal remote from direct tv was easy. Overall this was a great purchase during the sale.

The picture quality is outstanding, and its "smart functions" are easy to use, once you understand their breakdown. Even the native speakers aren't so bad (but a soundbar would be a nice addition to it). I would highly recommend this TV for anyone. The only negative feedback would be the remote. The mist used buttons are very small, and it would be nice to have a native Samsung app, so that I could use that instead.

As my friend mentions how his TV produces a superior black color, its really all he can brag about - and he spent about 5x as much as me. This TV is great if you want the basics on a large screen. I upgraded from a 50" and was nearly concerned this TV was TOO big, but I am used to it now and have no regrets. The "smart" features are decent. Free internet channels to watch. My biggest issue was the number of apps I could smartcast. Some but not all worked for me. Youtube, yes. Hulu, no. At least these apps are built into the TV as well. If you have a samsung phone, you can find the Smartthings app to put your remote right on your phone. Very nifty. All things considered, you will not regret this purchase if you keep modest expectations.

After my 2 year old LG 65 inch decided to suddenly get 50% darker, and living in covid times I ventured to Best Buy for a 65 inch replacement. Problem for me was that unless you “check in” at front, getting assistance for items not in an aisle is tough. Good news was that while website indicated 65 in Samsung being in stock, 70 inch models were on floor ready to go. Price was $50 more than I had initially intended on but 5 inch increase was worth it. Picture is obviously amazing and mounting to wall (already had hard part done) was a breeze. Native apps built in or easily downloaded are great (Prime, Netflix, Disney+, etc) but biggest gain for me was HBOMAX working seamlessly (LG and Roku and Firestick are all not compliant currently) TV is amazing and well worth it (coming from person who paid $1800 for 42 inch back in 2004). Technology is current, relevant and easy to use.

Very adequate 4k TV especially considering price for a 70". Lacks the 120hz refrest rate the motion rate 120 features more than makes up for it. Color and backlight are much more vibrant than other 70" TV's in this price range and I think thats cause its a Samsung - only TV that might outshine it is the LG but thats also much higher priced so we were more than satisfied with this model. Best buy staff was super helpful and even gave an additional discount because we bought an open box that was missing the legs/stands so that just made this purchase even more worthwhile for us.
