I am very sorry that your TU7000 is experiencing issues with freezing.
You can have your TV perform a self-check to diagnose the issues you are experiencing.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds.

Weird screen proportion.

It had 3D and a longer, shorter screen, so the ends were never cut off & the picture was never distorted. This one cuts off the ends & sometimes the picture looks "cartoony" when it is not animated. Like someone set the "sharp" button to high. Yet the clarity isn't as good as the other TV. We use Firestick UHD with this TV. Maybe it's just overkill?
