This drive was very accurate fast for gaming easy to install very reliable worth the purchase price

I’ve been using Samsung ssd as boot drive for a while never had issues. I personally can’t tell the speed difference between this and the pro version. Not overly noticeable anyway...

I have purchased three of these and they are easy to set up and include software to help managed the storage and optimize their use. I would definitely recommend t hem to a friend.

This product comes in different sizes, but I preferred the 1 TB version, obviously due to the amount of space needed (music) but mostly due to the speed difference compared to a regular SATA drive (no comparison). The price - not so cheap (likely paying for the Samsung name) but just like most new technologies I'm sure this will change in the near future. Samsung Evo 850 1TB SSD gets the job done for me so far and I highly recommend this product to everyone.

This is the best SSD I have owned. A great amount of space to work with, and super fast bootup times.

Works great, fast boot up, You do need to get the clone software from the Samsung site, worked perfecrly.

Used on early 2012 model MacBook Pro. Performance is great. Boot time great. Installation easy. For file transfer I used Super Duper because Samsung does not support Mac but does come with an easy transfer for PC. 4 out of five because it does not support Mac.

Installation was a snap and the quality and speed are great. This is my 4th purchase of this drive!

This drive is fast and quiet. Great design and easy to install.

I have a Dell desktop I bought back in 2010. Don't have the money to buy a new computer. I had read that a SSD would speed up the startup of my old computer that uses a 7200 rpm WD HD. Loading Windows 10 was taking nearly 7 minutes to complete. Now, it take only 45 seconds. Starting up any program is lightning fast. If you want to get some extra speed from an older computer, consider upgrading your boot drive to an SSD!

You can't beat the performance on this drive. Real-world write speed of over 400MB/s and read speed of over 500MB/s. This will make your rig boot up in a few seconds. I purchased two of these drives to run in RAID, which boosts the read speeds to over 600MB/s. The only Sata drive on the market that is faster would be the Samsung 850 Pro, but the difference between the Pro and Evo models is probably not worth the price difference.

I am using this SSD in my new high end gaming system as the system drive (C) along with a Core i7 8700K CPU and a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti card. This system is fast!

Samsung has a nice fast drive here. Also happens to be quiet and use low power. Love this drive.

easy install solid performance, ssd plenty of storage

Install was very easy and quite quick. Boot up time is remarkably quicker than my previous HD.

Used to build my media center mac mini. easy to install and setup and super fast and quiet.

I love this so much I will be getting another one. Although I’m gonna try my best to save up for the 2 tb version. It’s something you want for your PC for sure.
