This Samsung drive is very fast and the bundled software makes it a snap to clone your existing hard drive, if you're replacing one with the SSD. What a difference in boot up time with Windows 10! I replaced a 3 TB 7200RPM SATA-3 drive with this SSD and it is amazing how much faster it starts and how quickly programs load. Love this drive!

I was skeptical of the reviews for SSD's I read online. I use one in my work machine it's nice I wouldn't say fast. I dropped the evo850 in my late 2011 MacBook Pro. Night an day difference. I use boot camp an parallels an both showed a solid performance difference. I'm very happy I did this. Wished the price would come down though.

Fast ssd for any computer or laptop good price and storage

I got this solid state drive for a great deal. It was on sale and Best Buy matched the price. So far, this drive has performed to specifications and has functioned wonderfully. One caveat: Always perform a backup of your drive. Of course, one should do that even with a traditional drive. All in all, yes, this is a great drive.

I purchased this drive because I was running out of disk space. I replaced an older SSD. This SSD is much faster than the drive it replaced. Samsung also has a Samsung Magician application that allow you to tune the drive performance and see the drive health. The migration software was very thorough nd easy to use.

The transfer software that comes with the drive is very easy to use and made the entire process of upgrading my system very painless. the performance of the hard drive is outstanding and my VMWare not opens in under 5 seconds as compare to the 5 minutes with the old hard drive. Very satisfied and would recommend.

This was my first leap into using a SSD. I replaced an older master HDD and my OS boots up super quick! I rarely see any lag in opening files and the package is minimal, while looking sleek. So far, I am impressed with how it is holding up. I would definitely purchase another, should I build a new PC!

I was kind of forced to by this hard drive since my old one broke, but an employee in geek squad suggested this and my computer runs so much faster now! My computer is my baby and I thought it ran fast before but its old speed is a joke compared to now with this hard drive. Its expensive but completely worth.

It's a Samsung product and its a 1TB SSD. So what can I say besides it's awesome and it works very well. I was just upgrading from a 500GB Samsung SSD so I already had the performance. All I can tell you is if your questioning space go bigger ahead of time and save yourself time and a trip to the store.

I got this on sale for $324.98. I bought this for the new Alienware R3 15. Swapped it with the Hitachi 1TB 7200rpm. I was simply blown away how fast my pc boots and loads program. This is by far the best investment I made. If you have the budget then get the Samsung evo 1TB, I bet you won't regret.

My high end Lenovo laptop's hard drive died at just over a year after purchase (ie out of warranty). I had Geek squad replace it with a 1T Samsung solid state drive. My computer's performance improved noticeably. I use the computer for advanced engineering work and am very pleased with the new drive.

I have 2 of these SSDs. I decided to replace my HDDs with SSDs. This Samsung SSD is popular. I have no complaints. So far, I have not had a problem with either of my Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSDs. I do recommend the Samsung SSD if you want to obtain an appreciable improvement to your computer system.

Had the Samsung - 850 EVO 1TB Internal SATA III Solid State Drive installed in my computer, my original drive crashed. They cloned my old drive to this one, works incredibly fast and haven't had any issues with it. I recommend this type drive and my next desktop will definitley have it.

The transfer went flawless. I increased my 500GB SSD to a 1 GB SSD. the software works really well.

My MacBook Pro hard drive was failing debated between this 1Tb SSD or a 500Gb plate drive for $70 less. Switching to a SSD was the smartest move I could have made. And this was well worth the price and very simple to install and set up.

Should have done this year's ago. Drive is lightning fast and easy to install. If you buy this version you'll need a base if installing to a traditional tower and the USB adapter cable to mirror old drive. Once it's all hooked up, software is super easy and installation quick

I was hesitant to invest so much money into a hard drive, but I am so happy I did. It has made the world of difference in how fast my computer runs, and there were no problems with it at all with the transfer of the data or the drive itself. Samsung solid state for me from now on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
