My computer was getting a bit slow and replacing the hard drive with an SSD made it speedy again! The transfer of data from the old drive to the new drive was seamless and fast.

Great Hard Drive, easy to install and setup, super responsive

Where to begin, bought me a dell tower, i7,16gb ram, 1tb hard drive, windows 10. You would think it would be fast but the hard drive was junk. Cloned this baby and replaced the hard drive with it an now it is the speed demon I had wanted.

Very easy to follow guide included. The hard drive comes with software to transfer contents from other hard drive. The installation was very easy and fast. The price was very good at BestBuy. Apple compatible MacBookPro 13" and 15".

I bought this to be the main drive for an HP Omen computer for which I purchased at the same time. The drive so far is working great, but I have had only working for about two weeks and will now more about how it works overtime.

My laptop, which is now about 5 years old, now boots in less than 30 seconds. I also seem to have less power usage since I can work longer on just battery power than when the old hard drive was installed in the laptop.

Everything you could want from a 1TB SSD for a decent price.

Going from an HDD that's 4 years old, to this new shiny little box is a complete night and day difference. If thinking of building your own computer, spend the extra money to buy this and you will not be disappointed.

Great product. Only issue is that Samsung’s cloning Software will only let you clone a C drive. This was to replace a secondary drive and I tried 3 different products until I found one that worked.

I bought this to replace the old hard drive which became so slow. Be honest, after using SSD for two computers, the laptop became too slow. This SSD works like a champ, transferring files was so friendly, and fast.

My laptop starts so much faster after using this drive. If your system has 8gb or more ram, I would highly recommend turning rapid mode on. (via the samsung magician software).

I was running on a Lenova Y700 and while satisfied with the performance in general I was a little annoyed with the slow hard drive and the fact that my performance meter showed the hard drive always at 90%-100% and my RAM was pushing 70% (The old hard drive was a Hybrid with a 5200 RPM speed.) Once I installed this hard drive my boot times dropped to less than 10 seconds, and virtually instant from sleep. While gaming I noticed that my hard drive now runs at about 17% and non of my other resources are being taxed. My RAM now moves dynamically from 12% to 60% depending on the task, but never linked to hard drive management draining resources. This thing is awesome and I would suggest it to anyone who wants their computer to perform at the speed the CPU and RAM is meant to perform at.

Used to to replace my seagate hybrid drive in a 2009 MBP, and besides the fact that I can't get the full speed out of it, it does offer some speed boosts. Plus I don't have to worry about a mechanical drive that could fail.

I purchased this as an upgrade for my mid-2010 MacBook Pro, and the difference is incredible! Previously, I had a 7200 rpm drive. Boot time is seconds, applications load so much faster, and compile times have been slashed.

Not only is this drive incredibly fast compared to my old drive, it came with software to convert from the old drive to the new drive. The software was exceeding easy to use, and it worked perfectly the first time.

I upgraded a 2011 MacBook Pro with this hard drive and it felt like I bought a new computer, I would highly recommend converting your old spinning hard drive to this SSD.

Got this at a fine discount price, I love the speed and functionality. Backed up my WD SATA Hard drive with Apricorn Backup Suite It was fast Full backup in (48 minutes). Very pleasing to get things done in a hurry.

The Samsung 850 EVO SSD has been around a few years now, but it still has great performance for a SATA III drive and is still reviewed very highly by the various tech sites. You can't go wrong with an 850 EVO!
