Replaced the 750GB HDD in my '13 MBP that was slow to boot and took forever to load after waking up. Machine now boots in 10-15 seconds. Quick installation (~10min) and easy restoration of data from Time Machine (~2hrs).

The SSD works fine for us. It has improved the performance drastically from my old HDD.

I replaced Toshiba 256GB SSD with this Samsung 1TB model. It's noticeably faster in my 2010 Apple Mac Pro 5.1 tower, and the price is actually fair for a hi-speed 1TB model. I would definitely buy it again.

The supplied software worked perfectly. It was easy to use and set the drive as the boot drive and copied the system and data from the old drive . Noticeably quicker in boot up in Windows 10. Very Happy overall

This SSD was easily the best upgrade I've ever added to my laptop. Windows 10 went from two and a half minutes to boot down to about thirty seconds including tray apps and icons. Would recommend to anyone.

This purchase marked the 3rd time I'd purchased this particular SSD as a replacement for an aging HDD. The speed improvement made the machines into which they were installed feel like brand new, straight out of the box computers again. The speed, dependability, operating temperature and overall upgrade improvements make the price worth the investment. Add to all of the the easy cloning software included it makes this product a no brainer alternative to purchasing a whole new computer system. If you don't need to replace the HDD right away but you're looking to proactively avoid a HDD failure you may fear in the future, simply watch for a sale and pick up this drive when it's on sale.

I bought this SSD for my Dad's MacBook Pro, and he loves it! Fast, plenty of storage, and lot less expensive than a new computer. I highly recommend it.

Switched from a 7200 RPM HDD to the Samsung 850 EVO in a 2008 Gateway FX desktop. It is so much quieter and so much faster when booting up and launching apps. Transforms my 9 year old computer to like new.

I love my Samsung EVO. This is my second EVO after getting one when I originally built my PC in 2013. This is a very solid drive and very reliable. It's faster than any HDD, draws less power and will last longer.

Purchased this hard drive to replace the one that was failing in my iMac. What a difference SSD makes! After using the drive myself for the past month, I totally agree with all the positive reviews. It's great!

The CD that came with the disk made transferring data from my existing hard disk to the SSD disk easy. I have used Kingston SSD drives that require you to download a program off the net. After data transfer you can unplug your existing hard drive and just use the SSD drive as it boots up faster, programs run a little faster and virus scans much faster. I plug in the old hard drive to back up data and then unplug it.

Purchased to go into my Dell inspiron 2in1, to replace the stock 1T HD, Install was fairly easy, and cloning current drive was simple enough with instructions. Speed upon install was noticeable.

Needed bigger SSD drive. Upgraded from the Samsung 512GB to the 1 TB Samsung. Used the software that came with the drive to copy from 512 GB to 1 TB drive. Worked perfectly. OS is Windows 7 x64.

So glad I purchased this. I put in in my laptop (as primary drive and am using slower drive as secondary drive). This HD is so much faster than what I had before.

The installation instructions need more explanation on software installation. Ended up using Windows 10 Bootable Media Creation Tool to install the operating system.

This drive is amazingly easy to work with, and includes the software to clone your existing drive to the new SSD drive. Speed is amazing once you get the drive installed and running.

For the price, this is the best ssd on the market. Most users won't need the pro version, which is only slightly faster and comes with a 10 year warranty. This model come with a 5 year warranty.

Overall I'm please with my purchase for the price. This solid state drive made my slow laptop super fast! I'd recommend this product all day long!
