Added this to one of our computers at the office. So far the performance has been great and I would get it again.

This thing is amazing. It is so much faster than an original hard drive. Makes working with Adobe so much easier.

I had no issues with using the software to clone my drive works great on my alienware its faster now and worth it .

I purchased this SSD to replace an existing Samsung 840 SSD 250GB. The 840 I had was great but I was running out of space on it... The Samsung Data Migration software made the process of moving everything from the old 840 to the new 850 pretty darn easy. This software comes with the SSD but just as a warning, it only works when migrating data from one Samsung drive to another Samsung drive. The only issue I have with this product is that the instructions call for you to use a SATA to USB cable in the migration process. This is something I did not have nor did I see a need for it. I was able to do the data migration by simply plugging the new 850SSD into the mother board via a SATA cable (also not included). I was then able to complete the data migration. Again, not sure if this is recommended but it seemed to work out just fine for me. Other than that little hiccup, I have no complaints. Great little drive.

This is a great hard drive. It was easy to put in and had given me plenty of room for my media collection to grow.

Easy to install, boot time drastically reduced, quick to partition the drive...very happy overall!

These 850 EVO series SSDs have been phenomenal in many respects. I have purchased and built hundreds of computers and put SSDs in all of them. When it comes sustained Read & Write speeds when copying extra large files (20-30 Gig), nothing touches these 850 EVO series for sustained transfer speeds. I have built Large Raid 0 Arrays with them that have lasted more than two years without a single failure. You simply do not go wrong with this series.

This drive is fast and fits perfectly with my build. You can have several of these because they are so small.

Installed into MacBook Pro and instantly worked. The OS was installed over the Internet. Very nice upgrade.

Was easy to install and set up. Very fast, at least in linux. Planning to get a second drive soon.

Easy to install as long as you have the cable. Considerably faster than my previous ssd from crucial.

I installed this in my 6yr old laptop. It made it perform like new again, better than getting a new laptop!

Although a little slower (and less power-hungry) than its non-EVO counterpart by Samsung, this is a great drive. No troubles with any of the ones I have. The only reason I would opt for the non-EVO version would be if my needs were for multiple high density,high IOPS streams, like for complex sample libraries- but for system drive usage it's terrific.
