Excellent choice if you like blazing fast loading

After substantial reading of reviews I went for the 1 Tb Samsung model. I especially appreciate the software that maximizes my PC's use of the drive, caching in memory using a pretty intelligent algorithm. A random metric: Fallout 4 scene changes load in about 5 seconds.

Good SSD drive but not better than the cheaper PNY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first Samsung SSD drive and I found it more difficult to setup as a system upgrade than the other 5 PNY SSD drives I've bought previously. In order to get the cloning software to work (I've tried both the included one and EZ GIG IV), I finally had to initialize the drive with Windows System Administrator first. That never happened with PNY and the reading an writing speed are very similar. Even if I'm sure that Samsung SSD is a good and reliable product, I've found in my experience that you can get the same results with PNY having a substantial saving. Honestly for the difference in price (I bought the PNY at a reduced price of 249 bucks), I expected much better performance.
