Great drive. Get it. Fast , Reliable, easy to set up

This SSD is faster and hopefully will be more durable.

The extra piece of mind from solid state is worth it.

It holds lots of stuff like photos which are cool.

For some reason these SSD drive has been improving performance time after time, and this specific drive has a good response in terms of data transfer, and for the price it's been labeled it's actually not a bad deal at all. At the end of the day, you'll be using a good product with an affordable price.

I have been using the Samsung 850s from the first time they came out and have found no reason to change a good thing, I have built about 20 custom computers and have used them in single use, stripe and all raid variations with no problems, I would and have recommended these SSD's to my friends.

I purchased this hard drive because my previous hard drive was becoming unstable, but had not failed yet. The included Samsung software made it easy to clone my entire system onto the new drive with no loss of files or programs and minimal hassle. The new drive is fast and stable. Great product!

I purchased a new computer with two drives, one SSD 250gig and a 1Tb storage drive. I have a ton of music and found that accessing the music on the storage drive lags a bit so I upgraded my primary drive to this 1Tb SSD so I can store the OS and music on the same drive. Great access and no lags. Love it!

While not the cheapest-per-byte option, I've come to expect a lot out of my samsung devices. I could not transfer to the drive using it's included (painless) magician since I had too much data, but the installation of windows was easily less than a tenth of the time that on HDD.

Works great--absolutely no problem transferring the data with the included Samsung software. Huge improvement in start-up and overall performance. Highly recommend.

My two sons want to build a computer. Got this on sale at best buy. The geek squad says this solid state hard drive is the cream of the crop. I have friends who have installed this and they have nothing but great things to say. Have seen it in action on their computers. Works great

I can’t believe the simplicity and just how fast it read writes and exicutes. I installed mine on a PS4 pro and it runs atleast 5 times faster then its origional hard drive and reduces latency (atleast for me?)

Despite all the hooha about Samsung losing reliability I continue to trust their products and their SSDs are no exception. I bought this drive to upgrade my PS4 with and it installed perfectly with no problems. And I am using the Pro cousin to the EVO in my desktop, all perfect.

The cd in the package was cracked so I had to go online to get the software. I replaced my HDD with this SSD to improve Windows 10. Works great!

Great performance no issues installing it and formatting it in the external thunderbolt Drive case. Not sure if it's the best bang for the buck though.

Great replacement for laptop hard drive! The only issue I ran into was samsung magician software did not recognize the ssd in my sabrent hard drive dock. I had to go directly to samsung website and download "migraton software" which looks to be a little different than the magician software the ssd came with. Once I ran the downloaded migration software the drive was recognized right away and cloned successfully. Greatly increased the startup and the magician software did help in optimizing my win8 laptop once it was swapped.

I purchase the Samsung - 850 Evo 1tb Internal Sata Iii Solid State Drive to use it for my operating system and to increase speed of my system. This hard drive worked wonders and increased my system speed and boot time. I love it and want another one!
