This has got to be the fastest drive you can get. Yet it is so small and light. Dramatic increase in time to access everything. Very glad I got it.

Easy to install, easy to copy/clone into a system boot drive. If moving from a mechanical drive (7200 rpm) you'll be absolutely amazed. This is slightly older technology but still current enough for a home power user to find it on their short list to have. Absolute minimal waits while loading large programs. I would recommend purchasing a 2 device 'drive bay adapter' for ease with this install and any future installs.

I can not believe how fast this drive is it is well worth the money but when it comes down in price I'm going to get more.

This solid state drive was easy to install and came with the necessary software to perform the transfer of data from the older drive to the new one. Boot time is tremendously faster, Battery life has increased greatly.

This was exactly what I needed. No problems. Would purchase again.

Very fast drive as expected, excellent capacity, hope the price comes down similar to the smaller ssd drives. Use Windows system image to back up existing drive, restore the drive image through Windows to the new drive. Up and running smooth, will not take too long. I used this to replace a 2tb sata hd. Did the system image to an external drive the night before this ssd arrived. Made the swap, did the restore, up and running with significant performance improvement in less than 2 hours. Photoshop CC loaded in no time, Outlook, Excel, etc same thing. Installed this in an HP desktop that is at least 5yrs old, with an i7 quad processor, so worth the updating over buying new. Booting up is a huge improvement as expected.

I am using this as a external hard drive. And it is incredibly fast using it with a USB 3.0 cord! Love the 2TB size!
