I love this ssd. 16 second start up and 5 second shutdown on a desktop. If it has to shut down a program first before closing then a few seconds longer. Very happy with this purchase. Only problem was installing Windows 10, I had to delete a partition which I knew nothing about. I called Microsoft and they got me going in about 30 min.

I have bought two, I'm using one as Win8.1 backup. in case upgrade to win10 fails me. You need to buy (Apricorn - Data Transfer Cable - Gray Model: ASW-USB3-25 SKU: 3459621) to help you with the laptops cloning.

I have had this drive for almost 2 years now and have never had an issue. I use this as my primary drive (C:) and my laptop boots up within 15 seconds.

Comes with the software to copy ur current os to the ssd, very simple and easy steps to migrate. Laptop is much faster than with traditional hdd.

Putting together new computer, from previous experience I have found these drives reliable and super fast compared to standard hdd.

My boot time is under 8 seconds. Upgraded your hdd to this ssd and never look back. You do not have to buy the bigger capacity. Buy the 256gig option. Load your OS in it and use a 2-3tb hd as your storage drive

Good speed best graphics for video. Good solid state

This solid-state drive is the best option on the market currently however I would like to see you in a little bit cheaper but the speed cannot be matched and if you combine it with an external enclosure it needs to have the new spec of using the UASP protocol. This is important to get the full speed of the 3.0 USB it has to have this specific spec not all of them do and so you don't get the full capability and benefit of having this Samsung solid-state drive.

Excellent SSD hard drive. This is a very fast hard drive and proven to be very reliable.

Wow! This drive is like lightning for startup and games. I am no longer waiting or sitting on load screens. The software suite they give you tweaks the drive to your requirements.

have not had any issues with this ssd, works fine. I am using with bmcc and will probably be upgrading to a larger vwersion of the same soon

The Samsung Pro SSDs, although pricey, appeared to have great reviews... I took the chance and I am very glad I did. There are obviously many brands of SSDs and I have experienced some that operated slower than expected. It reduced the boot up time from 1:21 to :21 for a Windows 10, core i5 Thinkpad. I plan on upgrading my mid 2012 MBP too. Great product!!!

I was not expecting such a compact fast drive. Way to go Samsung.

My laptop Hard drive was making noise and then suddenly stopped working. After going through some review I decided to buy this drive. Once i installed this drive and onstalled the OS. This hard drive read write speed is super fast. Boot time is so fast with in a min. I get logged into my PC. I would suggest to upgrade to this hard drive.

In my humble opinion no computer should turn on without an SSD and when it comes to the best Samsung is out front

Added this drive as a secondary for my laptop on top of my 1TB disk drive and re-installed everything to boot from the SSD. It makes a TON of difference. 15 second boot time maximum from pressing the power button. Would buy again in a heartbeat if needed another SSD

There is no better way to speed up a PC/laptop than by switching from a hard drive to a solid state drive. I've used Samsung drives almost exclusively for some time in a few PCs and some older laptops and never had any issues.
