This is the best SSD available on the market, very fast and reliable. I use it for more than one year in an USB 3.1 enclosure with my laptop and it's incredibly fast.

I upgraded from a Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB drive. I now own two of these so I have plenty of gaming space in my PC. The price drop made getting the 2 TB the best value.

Installed in an extra bay I had.... used a clone product. It was easy ! OMG my desktop is so much master ! boots in less then a minute!

Used to upgrade my Late 2015 27in iMac’s slow Internal 1TB HD. It has brought new life to my aging machine. Mojave boots up fast and programs, pictures open instantly. You will need to purchase an ssd adapter, temp sensor, repair kit, and replacement adhesive from OWC for HD replacement. Other option is to boot OS from SSD via usb to sata adapter. No need to upgrade your aging iMac just replace your old spinning HD

I used this to replace the hard drive in my 7 year old HP desktop computer. The computer literally runs like new (I also upgrade the RAM at the same time). I partitioned the drive to put Windows and software on one volume and storage on another. It’s extremely fast and even allows me to use my audio recording software without recording to a second drive (usually for recording, you don’t record to the same drive that is running the software). It was well worth the investment!

These drives are great! They are quiet and boot the computer quickly. in some instances my slow computer ran faster.

Super fast. All 2TB plus hard drives are still over priced. I probably paid $20 more than I should have, and the newer models are around $20-40 more than this one currently (in 2020). However this version is better than the 870 QVO, real world tests show it to be faster. I’ve also tested the golden standard, 850 EVO and this is slightly faster with overall better longevity. You most likely can’t go wrong with this drive.

Hard drive was a great price when I bought. It was easy to install into my computer. And it is great for gaming.

Replacement for a 1 terabyte SanDisk in my PS4 Pro. Fast and quiet with plenty of storage.

This is by far one of the best internal hard drives i have had , SSD is the way to super fast bootup.

You get what you pay for. Samsung SSDs are fast and reliable. No issues whatsoever.

Installed on my Wifes Computer which is easily 12 years old. Also upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. I used a utility call Classic Shell to make it look like Windows 7. She absolutely loves it ! Performance has significantly increase as her computer is now a lot faster. Samsung Magician is recommend to download with the EVO 860 and it is a great utility to have and very easy to use.

I waited until this was offered for a good price. The store didn't carry the 2TB, so I had to order this online for pick up at the store. No problems with the order, or the pickup. You will need to go to the Samsung website to download the migration software to copy your old drive onto the SSD, as well as the Samsung Magician software to manage the SSD. No instillation issues.

Great SSD. Fast, secure, and a lot of space. Big bang for your buck.
