A: As long as the drive you are replacing is a standard SATA connector 2.5” drive then you should be fine. Looking up your current HDD, I cannot see a reason why you would have any problems with it. The HGST HTS541075A9E68 looks to be the same form factor and connector as the Samsung EVO 860 SDD.
Q: Will this work on a MacBook 2012
A: If you are talking about a 2012 MacBook Pro 13" or 15" (17"???) NOT RETINA, then yes. In fact you can swap out the optical drive using an adapter [https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/internal_storage/Data_Doubler] to put in 2 SSDs. I've done that. The Retina laptops use "Instead of a hard disk drive, the new models ship with a solid state drive housed in a proprietary flash module design rather than a 2.5" notebook drive." Q: Will this Ssd work in an Dell Inspiron 15 7559? Thanks.
A: Yes. This is sata base. Old Hard Disc Drives aka HDD are sata cable based. Simply unscrew and unplug old hard drive and install this exactly where the old one was. Might need a SSD bracket to accommodate the size difference of the old hard drive.
A: it most likely would work just check if your power supply can power it
Q: Will this drive work in a gaming laptop (though not used for gaming), MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro.
A: I have one in my gaming G70 from ASUS & it works fine! Faster speeds & loading!
A: Yes it will. See link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nJY3mIEsgI
