Samsung SSD is the best and worth you to pay a little extra.

Bought this as a replacement for a 1TB HDD. Boost in speed from going the SSD is great. Great benefit for me with the games that I have on my gaming laptop. Standard HDD was working but load times are noticeably better when I switched to this SSD. I will also be upgrading to the NVME sticks as well to max out storage and speed.

I was having an issue with my old spinning hard drive and wasn’t sure I wanted to invest in a new laptop. I replaced my old drive with this unit and it’s working faster than it has in a long time so I’m happy with this drive getting a few more years out of my laptop. Easy to install and copy over my old drive using the Samsung software.

Now that large SSDs have come down in price the option to use a solid state drive as more than a boot drive has become a reality. I do video and audio editing on this drive and the increase in speed over the 2TB hard drive I was using is remarkable. I have a couple of these in my computers and find them indispensable.

Put this drive in my Xbox oneX. Performance and load times were increased by an average of 25% (measured by before vs after). Really happy with the results. Not swapping xbox drives is not a plug and play setup like ps4/5. Worth the performance upgrade as this is the 3rd evo drive I have used now.

I use this for my main drive and I have to say after switching over from a HDD I'm hooked. It's lightening fast and games and startup are amazing. I also purchased the 860 EVO 1TB to use as a secondary and both are my new favorite things inside my PC. I'm getting up to 560MB/s read speeds on both!

This drive made my laptop speed it considerably. It is super quiet and runs fast. Computer starts up faster and runs smoother. It put my old drive to shame. It pops right up on startup no time to make coffee and come back. Read write is incredible. Would recommend to anyone. Loved that it came with cloning software.

This drive replaced a 1TB internal drive that became too small. This is a fast drive and provides additional space. Not quite as fast as the pro version but it does really well.

Got this during the holidays because of the low price. I've owned several Samsung SSDs and they're still going strong. I'm planning to place this on an external enclosure and use it as a backup drive especially during vacations to store pictures. Will store movies, movies and documents too.

I love that this stores files on it and does a great job at it. Much faster than the hard drive in my windows xp 2002 desktop.

Upgrade to an SSD. Once you have had one you can not go back to a Hard Disk Drive (HDD). I called BestBuy asking about these SSD drives to replace the HDD on my son's gaming desktop computer. My son had been complaining about it being slow and crashing. The man was very knowledgeable and told me that I would be happy and surprised what spending $ 250 for a SSD and 100 to increase the memory would do for this 3 year old computer. He showed me that I could upgrade for $360 or get a new gaming computer for $889. This SSD along with an additional 2GB of RAM memory made my son's computer faster than I thought possible. It was easy to install. The transfer of data from the old Hard Disk Drive to the new SSD took many hours of the computer sitting, turned on. But it was an easy install and my son and I learned something.

Samsung evo drives has a great reputation. The best even if slightly. It is a little spendy for that slight difference. They separate themselves with the durability of the drive. This is where it excels. Highly recommended. Especially on sale.

Great for storing large amounts of data that you need to access often, and makes everything much faster if you also backup to an external SSD. Install was a smooth process as well, be sure to download samsung magician to update your SSD with the latest firmware.

I’m using this in my ps4 with a 2tb ssd on the side to store my games. The PlayStation runs so much smoother especially on line. I highly recommend that everyone makes the switch.

Looking to upgrade your pr4 storage and loading speed? This is what you need. Some games don't benefit much but no games are slower only faster. Titles like farcry loading times are cut in half. Twice the speed and twice the memory.

Love these drives, great for upgrading a older PC/Laptop. Have used them for 4 desktop PC's and 2 Laptops and makes them like new. Puts the spring back in the steps!! Went big this time with the 2 TB. I would recommend this.

Perfect holiday gift for brother. He was using an old 1TB HDD. Would delete old games to make room for newer ones. Now he don't have to, plus loads them a lot faster.
