Another amazing Samsung dfive that is simlle to install and has very easy to use software support if needed. I have two Samsung sata ssd's along with a 970 plus and 980 pro nvme drives & storage read/write is always blisteringly quick.

Bought on Jan 2, 2024. I should've known what was to come when it was never recognized by any of my computers. I had to go through Disk Management to initialize the disk and get it to show up. This was intended to be my primary storage for family photos and videos. Literally on the 23rd day of owning this product, it froze while moving a photograph. Now I get the message "You need to format the disk in drive Q: before you can use it." Of course I do NOT want to format it and lose my photos! Clicking CANCEL just gives me "Q:\ is not accessible. The volume does not contain a recognized file system..." Strange that it recognized the file system just fine up until it froze yesterday during the file transfer. This hard drive was formatted upon purchase (after initializing of course). Now it seems I'm going to lose my precious memories and it only cost me nearly $300 to do so! And why would I want to format it again and trust storing anything on it ever again? I'm currently looking into HDD recovery options to try and salvage my data. Maybe Samsung should stick to TVs... Not at all happy with this.

Using in a USB 3.1 enclosure on an Xbox Series X for external storage. Games load only a few seconds slower than internal storage. Keeps all that precious space open for Series X specific games that must be played from the internal storage (or an expansion card if you have one). Transferring games back and forth is also quite reasonable time wise if you have more Series X games than internal space available. I have used about 2 TB of space and have 138 games plus tons of DLC installed on this drive. Very satisfied with this Samsung drive as storage for my Xbox Series X. All of this should apply the same for someone looking to add storage to an Xbox Series S too.

I download a lot of music which is stored in windows media player and also in the music folder and because of that it takes up a lot of space on the operating drive. So I had best buy transfer the operating system from the computer onto the sdd drive and then install it in the computer along with the drives that came with the computer so I also had access to those drives also the sdd drive is much faster and works great. the drive also came with Samsung magician that allows you to monitor your drives and can send updates nice tool lets you resolve issues with the drive

Super speed, reliable and lots of space for games.

Works great. I bought 4 of these, 2 for each PC that I work on and I set them up in RAID 0 cause I need the speed to be pretty fast for the huge file transfers that I do and so far they work just as great as the 2TB SSDs that these replaced except maybe not quite as fast but that's ok as I needed the extra storage more than the faster speeds

The drive was easy to set up. It is fast and has plenty of space. Im using it for photo storage as a second drive.

Its as easy as connecting it to your computer but the configuration on using the full 4tb and having it set as a bootable windows drive was difficult. Overall i am future proofed and happy with this! I store all of my games and have no problem with the loading times, this is definitely worth getting if you just want an ssd.

This SSD was easy to install and even better for it's storage capacity that's taken care of pretty much all of my PC needs. Definitely considering getting another one in the future.

Somewhat expensive but I need the speed and the storage capacity and best time to buy is during Black Friday. I originally had a 500 GB SSD and running out of space. I clone my drive to this 4 TB SSD and now I don't have to worry about running out of space anytime soon.

I bought this solid state drive for my favorite games. I don't put all of them on here. I have a larger hard drive for most of my games. This is a great drive and runs fast. My recommendation is to buy this for the software you need to run at top speed.
