When I was looking at sound bars I wanted something that would enhance my TV purchase. After connecting the sound bar I reviewed both the speakers in the TV and the speakers in the sound bar. I honestly do not think that the soundbar enhanced the TV. And it was a $1,200.00 sound bar on sale for $399.00. I am not going to return it but will go ahead and use it.

So glad I spent the extra $$ on this soundbar. Loud and awesome sounding.

I bought this as an open box thinking I was getting a great buy. No manual- no remote- missing pieces. Very dissapointing as I have now seen this product on other sites for less sold NEW with no missing parts.

It is supposed to be surround sound. It does not work. I have a $100 speaker system that sounds better than this $1300 system.

This is a great sounbar. I bought it at a discounted price of $399 + taxes. Its sound fills the room really well. I'm using it with an LG smart tv running webos. The LG remote works well with the sound bar as i'm able to control both. The only issue i have is that some of the settings go back to original when the soundbar powers on with my TV. Other than that it was a great deal from Bestbuy.

Replaced older samsung soundbar with this one. Once again very satisfied with the sound quality, the look and the pricing. One issue im running into is that the sound is louder when i play music through my phone than it is through the tv. Not sure if its me only or others have same issues. But other than that id reccomend this soundbard all day long

The sound is really good, but the Bluetooth is horrible, any smart phone close to the sound bar with the Bluetooth set to on, it will be detected by the sound bar and it turns automatically to BT, interrupting the sound, then you have to press the source button back to the source you want it, but it will continues doing it until everybody in the house turn their Bluetooth off on their smart phones, if you have close neighbors with their Bluetooth on is going to be a nightmare, if your sound bar is off and someone is close to the sound bar with their phone, it will turn on and sometimes stay on all night long and you will not even notice it, in one month I returned twice thinking it was a defective unit, but After contacted Samsung and have them on the phone for over two hours trying to resolve the problem, they told me that's the way this sound bar is, I'm very disappointed with Samsung comp, I owned several Samsung products, including a 65" 4k curve TV, they're great products, but this particular sound bar, Samsung please look at this problem and fix it, otherwise you guys will see tons of bad reviews.

Bought this in Dec and within a month, it started having issues. It powers down by itself while subwoofer stays on for a few more seconds. It also drops network connection frequently while all my other devices stay connected. During the Superbowl it kept shutting down and I was so annoyed I had to completely power it off and switch back to the TV sound so I could continue to watch the game without audio problems. The design is pretty, mounts under the tv fairly easily. The audio quality isn't that great and I can clearly hear a slight buzz when playing certain songs that hit high notes, for example, Adele's. Overall, very disappointed with it.

I purchased this soundbar with 78 inch Samsung Curve JS9500. Delivery was a perfect process. Setup was easy for both items and work for about 30 days with disruption. On about 11/21/15, that's when the sound bar frozen at AUX. I had to use TV speakers. I unplugged the power then next morning the sound bar has sound. It lasted about 15 minutes then went complete silent. The sound bar manual is not helpful. I went to Best Buy and bought an Optical cable. I plugged in it into the ONECONNECT out and into the sound bar in. I pressed the SOURCE on sound bar remote to switch to D.IN and hoped it would work. It did not work!!! I am baffled and thinking to return the sound bar. If Samsung is out there with Best Buy, please help!!! Thank you.

This is a full range setup. I got this to go with my new Samsung 9500 it knocked my socks off plus the Bluetooth capabilities work better then expected.

I have the Samsung KS 8500 65" curved TV and this fits it perfect. The sound is extraordinary, clear voice and booming sound effects, couldn't ask for much more. The pairing with the TV was almost automatic and I like the fact that I can control the Sound Bar with the TV remote and the Xfinity remote. I really like this Sound bar.

I try on both HW-J550 vs hw-j8500 the 550 sound louder than the 8500. The subwoofer is better too. The 550 value u only put on 25 to 30 u can hear nice n clear but the 8500 u have to put on 40 to 47 to hear as good as the 5500.
