I always want the fastest products for my computer. I bought a 6700k intel i7 and overclocked it to 4.7ghz so that I could excel in media editing. My bottleneck was my slow Hard Disk Drive. I upgraded to this Samsung 960 EVO M.2 PCIE SSD, and the read and write speeds are insane. Downloading email attachments is instant. Scrubbing in video editing is flawless. And saving and deleting files happens in the blink of an eye. If you are like me, and want high performance, buy this. It's the best ssd on the market right now.

I recently built a new PC using state of the art components. It features an Intel i9 Processor, 2 NVidia GTX 1080s, 64GB of DDR4 RAM, liquid cooling, 2 Samsung Evo SSD's, and last but definitely not least, the Samsung 960 EVO 250GB Internal M.2 PCI Express, capable of speeds up to 3200MB/sec!! It blows away the traditional SSD speed of 600MB/sec!! I can turn on my computer, and it boots into Windows 10 in less than 6 seconds! I can literally play any game at maximum graphics settings, and with my new Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD, it runs faster than any computer I've ever used before. If you're looking for a MAJOR speed boost, and your motherboard is capable of supporting M.2 SSD drives, don't hesitate to buy this M.2 SSD. The speed boost you get is absolutely amazing! The M.2 SSD is about half the size of a DDR4 desktop memory module. If you're going to build a computer, build a BEAST! Get the Samsung 960 M.2 SSD drive. Traditional non-solid state drives are completely obsolete now. If you want a computer that will crush the competition (my computer ranked higher than 99.7% of the 10,000,000 computers that it was compared to. Do it, get the Evo 960 M.2 SSD!!

This ssd is just unbelievably fast. Using it on a Asus B350M-E Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 1600, CPU, Asus GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, & 16gb DDR4 2666 Ram.

PROS: • Shockingly fast, boots up my Windows 10 laptop in under 10 seconds • Power-on, restart, reboot, & shutdown lightning fast in comparison to the Seagate 5400 RPM SATA drive that was installed with the laptop • Applications installations and launches much faster, making the user experience much more enjoyable • Easy to install into a compatible M.2 PCIe NVMe slot • Well-priced for the phenomenal speed • No messy cables to deal with, just one screw to hold it in place • Fair and adequate 3-year warranty • The functionality of a hard drive compressed in the size of a volatile stick of RAM, what more can you ask for? CONS: • Did not come with a screw to secure the drive (I'm just being picky) You can see the comparison speed between the 960 EVO and the Seagate 5400 RPM SATA Drive in the last picture. Comparing this race to a rabbit and tortoise would be giving the Seagate too much credit. The Seagate is more like a SNAIL and the EVO is more like a CHEETAH! Just make sure your motherboard supports PCIe NVME M.2 before purchasing this as not all do.

Just bought a new pc and the standard 1TB hard drive was slow. I decided to keep it for storage and add this Samsung EVO 960 and make it my boot drive. Worked out very easy. Samsung has their own software that’s free and it’s a very simple process to migrate all of your files to this hard drive. Now my boot time is almost instant and i save 99% of my stuff to the 1TB drive. For games and load times this thing is hard to beat. Very good for the money. They make an extreme version but that was really expensive. This one is reasonably priced and very fast. Highly recommended.

Did a lot of research on M.2's, and this one was not only the fastest, but also the best price. (118.99) I did have to ask BB to price match the online price as the in store price was $30 higher than the online price. Customer service was quick to adjust the price however without any issues. Was easy to install, just plug it in, than did a fresh install of Windows. My load time went from around 25 seconds to less than 7. Well worth it!

This is one super fast SSD! Put it in my new Dell XPS 8930 i7 rig and am blown away at its performance. Installation was easy and whi,e it works well with the standard windows drivers, the Samsung NVMe drivers sped it up even more have run a ton of benchmarks using Samsung’s Magician software and Crystal. Be sur to update the Magician software to the latest version and you’ll see the same results that Crystal reports. My only egret is that I didn’t get the 500gb version, but with a free install of Windows I still have a ton of room on the 250gb drive, and am using a 500gb Samsung Evo for main data storage and the 2tb drive that came with the dell for additional space. You really can’t go wrong with Samsung drives, and they just keep getting better!

I decided to splurge for a fancy new NVME drive on my new workstation build (Mini-ITX case), and I have to say, Samsung makes SSDs like no one else. Absolutely no issues so far after 30+ days of operation. Do recommend the installation of the Magician software, as it'll report how many bytes have been written (which is part of the warranty).

I snatched this up for a few reasons. One being I just needed more space for my games. The other was to gain speed. At first I assumed that there wouldn't be a big difference. I already had a SSD and its wickedly fast. After adding this my start up times and what not are a little faster but nothing crazy. But my download times are easily twice as fast. On top of everything this just looks sleek and out of the way on the motherboard.

I got this SSD card for my PC after my hard drive failed and the speed increase is INSANE! Samsung's included software to help you get it all set up works flawlessly too. My boot time from being powered off to logging into Windows 10 is around 7 seconds and that's with a LOT of background software that needs to load like antivirus programs and the like. As long as this SSD doesn't fail I am totally sold on it!

the best way I can described my personal experience with this NVME M.2 has been easy and pleasant installation on my dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming was easy and painless for me first order of business make sure your bios is updated in your dell is a most them if you have to change the bios from raid to SATA second order of business is you have a regular hard drive temporally disconnected while you reinstalled windows or recover windows image to avoid confusion initializing the primary boot drive reseting your pc more likely won't work with dell recovery media dell recovery software is no no is easier to used the recovery usb drive and just recover drive instead third order of business I found a clean install of windows works best as long as you know what you are doing because you will need to reinstalled all your drivers and update your windows os and don't forget to update your MVNE M.2 driver from Samsung website

Incredibly fast; Faster than any SSD i've used before now. Plug and play. Just make sure you can use this M2 NVMe PCIe because it is different than just an M2 SATA. It's even slotted different. Installed in a Asus ROG G752V works flawlessly with new bios.

I am so glad I purchased an NVME SSD! The speed difference is noticable even upgrading from Samsung 840 EVO SSD. Boot up is literally instantaneous, I can open Word or Photoshop within seconds of boot. Photoshop CC along with other memory hungry applications I use open in about 3 seconds or so. I am using this SSD for my boot drive and applications that need the speed. Installation in my HP Omen Desktop was simple and easy to do. I did have to remove my memory card to get to the m.2 port that was available but that was nothing.

Had this installed to speed up boot and software loads while still using the 5400RPM Hard Drive for storage. Man does this thing fly! Well worth the price in time savings alone not to mention a much cooler (literally) running option.

Benchmarks 3100MB/s READ and 1400MB/s WRITE But when it come to games loading... not much faster than my SansDisc Plus SSD... maybe 3-8 sec faster depending how big the map or game is.... "Sensible Gamers" that need more space and similar performance as NVMe would buy 2 or more SATA3 SSD's (preferably all identical models) and setup up a raid 0 Array... I JUST HAD TO HAVE ONE OF THE WORLDS FASTEST HARD DRIVES FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE... :) Part of my Midlife Crisis!?

This is an excellent, incredibly fast SSD. I use it as the boot drive for my DESKTOP. 22 second boot time, could probably make it less if I removed the splash screen for my mobo.

Made a great upgrade from a SATA SSD. Much faster than the SSD it replaced and installing the Nvme drive went smoothly. I transferred a Linux install to it with no trouble.
