A: You can use these Samsung M.2 drives in a PCIE slot BUT only if you buy a separate PCIE M.2 adapter. It is a 4x card that plugs into the PCIE slot with a M.2 socket mount. You would insert the Samsung drive onto the card and then install the card into the PCIE slot. These adapters are not expensive, usually between $15 and $30. Newer motherboards have M.2 slots on the boards by default and don't require the adapters, but older boards need them to work.
Q: Does this work in my Asus G20CB with no problems?
A: Yes, but you will have to break the warranty seal to install it. Your motherboard has an M.2 slot that you will place this in. It's located under the optical drive mounting tray, and will require a lot of disassembly so make sure you have the proper tools.
Q: Is it In-Stock? how long it takes to ship? and how fast?
A: Currently, (on 1/19/2017) it is out of stock. I had free two-day shipping when I ordered it.
A: you need an external tb3 PCI box and adapter but absolutely worth it, it's twice as fast as any internal Mac drive except the iMac pro (it's dead even with that)
A: Even if this does not work in your M.2 slot you can buy an add in card cheap that will go in your PCI express slot that will work with it. But the new 970 EVO drive is out at the same price point Buy it! Much faster!
