Even if this does not work in your M.2 slot you can buy an add in card cheap that will go in your PCI express slot that will work with it. But the new 970 EVO drive is out at the same price point Buy it! Much faster!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mike, I've sold and supported Dell machines for over 20 years. While their design at times makes it difficult or impossible to upgrade things like gpu due to placement, if something fits, it generally plays nice provided you're within spec. This M.2 is surely nice though. Desktop to desktop boot in under 15 seconds for me. I wouldn't hesitate to try it in the Dell.
