Best storage option ever just wish I could afford a bigger one cause I already ran out of space but this ssd is fast!!!!!!

Looking to boot into your operating system in 5 seconds? You found the drive. Samsung always does an excellent job with their hard drives and there is no exception with the 960. The 960 Pro's have a higher write quantity than the Evos, but for a normal user you will not run into the brick wall on these guys.

Very happy with my purchase, only problem I had was having to reinstall all of my drivers once I changed boot drives.

I used this to replace a 128g ssd drive in my laptop. I found that the 128 do not last that long as far as storage. Once you start doing the windows 10 updates it fills up pretty fast. Love this and it is not full yet and still going strong. had Geek Squad install it for me.

What can I say? It's expensive but fast. Samsung Magician says it gets 3GB/s read, 1.5GB/s write and 250K IOPS Read and Write. I also have another system with the 950 PRO; by comparing the two it seems the only major difference is that the 950 only gets 100K IOPS Write, the rest being fairly similar.

I bought this M.2 SSD based on the positive reviews. Haven't used any other SSD on my desktop, so can't give comparison. Glad that I didn't throw away the screws came with the new PC; SSD didn't come with screws. Pricey compared to other similar SSD. So far so good after 1.5 months with limited use.

Installed this and have seen a notable difference in loading performance relative to the rotating drive that shipped with my computer. Windows 10 is no longer laggy. Simple to install. Samsung's SSD software made transferring my system over to the new drive somewhat trivial.

Love my M.2. My PC reboots in 12 seconds. I now think I used to live in the dark ages before installing this wonderful SSD. The only downside is the price being high. One day they will be cheaper for sure, but I do feel I got my money's worth as the market is right now.

If you are forced to install an SSD in the PCI express slot, this is a great option for the price. The Sata ones seem a little faster to me, but I am still very satisfied. Using this, I was able to keep my existing 1 tb platter drive that came with the laptop.

Worked as advertised. Easy to install and really sped up my computer. I wish they would have had the Intel Optain drive but that's a Best Buy issue and not this drive's fault. It was exactly what I was looking for and so far, has delivered on it's promise.

Purchased this as an upgrade from a SATA SSD by the same manufacturer and its performing as well as expected. >5 seconds from cold start to run. If you’re upgrading from a traditional HHD you’ll be amazed at the increased boot speed and data access times.

I bought an HP 870-244, one of the top pre-built gaming computers. Yet for some reason it doesn't have an SD built in. I have a Samsung EVO850 for my storage and this bad boy for the OS. Computer literally boots in less than 3 seconds. Love it.

I returned this product after realizing how inconsistent the read speeds were. This doesn't mean that it is not a fast drive but perhaps you would be better off with a 960 pro instead of the base model.

Have two of them, one in an HP x360 laptop, and the other, I just installed in my new Alienware 15 R3 laptop I just purchased. No complaints. Best Buy matched a lower price as well.

I cant say anything about the hardware except it works flawlessly. I can say that the Samsung Magician and Samsung data migration software (free download) worked well and was very easy to clone my HDD to the Samsung nvme m.2 SSD drive.

I never thought a HDD could be such a bottleneck in my workflow. Installed it in a Laptop HP Pavillion with Core i7-6500U with 16GB RAM...day and night difference! :) Now I'm able to edit 4K in Premiere Pro without any hiccups.

I have been using this as a boot drive in my desktop for about a year and a half with no issues. All of the drives in my system are Samsung and at this point there are no cons for any of them. Extremely reliable.

This is pretty much the best you can get for the money when it comes to having your OS and primary apps running on as fast as possible. I added this to a Z370 Motherboard with an intel 8th gen i3 processor w/ 16 GB of ram.

Correction, FAST! does not even qualify. This thing is out of the world. Buy two and create a RAID 0. I'm getting 3.5GBps seq read. For comparison, your measly magnetic hard drive is probably doing 100MBps on a good day.
