Put this in my rig as my primary drive for games -- runs very well and stays decently cool to my surprise. It does not have an dedicated memory BUT it still reads and writes with ease. If you're looking for a good budget friendly option in a world of overpriced tech this will check most boxes. More food for thought -- I have a 1080 and was using a SSD for storage. I tried playing Starfield and the game was horrendous, really, just unplayable. I bought this drive and I can now enjoy flying through space with all of Bethesdas bugs. A night and day difference.

This drive works well and the price was good. The only complaint I have is that drives like this require special equipment to use and I dislike how consumer electronics are moving away from the average consumer being able to use it.

Purchasd for my father's 3 year old PC to replace the 1 Terabyte HDD. He is in love with it. He already had a 250g ssd but the Samsung evo boots up windows much faster, warcraft loads almost instantly and he is getting much less lag thanks to this and the uograded ramm.

Fast write and read speeds, and good amount of storage. Perfect for gaming.

Works great as intended. Used for a Raspberry Pi 5 to load a full 1TB Batocera image, worked great and was fast. No issues at all; I highly recommend Samsung storage devices.
