The packaging is a little misleading. It is a Blu-ray player and upscaled for 4k. It does not play 4k discs. Other than that it's a great player

My old "lesser quality" DVD player took a dump. Fortunately I had Best Buy Black Tie protection on it. I replaced it with this model, partially due to online reviews and partially because we've been very happy with our Samsung TVs. This unit has been great. Easy to use. Lots of great features. Great brand. Great quality.

I researched available dvd players thoroughly before purchasing the Samsung BD-J-6300. I narrowed my choices to this Samsung player and a Sony model. I decided on the Samsung because I have a Samsung 4K ultra hd tv. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I believe it is one of the best dvd players available for the money.

This DVD player is fantastic. The picture is beautiful. My son, who is leagally blind, can even see a difference.

Just learned In need a 4K blu ray player to play 4K blu rays; haven't had an occasion to use said technology yet but the price was right.

It took me a while to unpack this and set it up, but once I did I was pleased. It was easy to set up, and within a few minutes I was streaming Amazon Prime programming. I have not had it very long, but it's pretty cool and I'm looking forward to hopefully using it a long time, and maybe replacing my cable subscription.

I replaced a storm damaged older player with this one. It has so many more apps, and does so much! Great.

My Samsung - BD-J6300 DVD Works great from the disc to the streaming apps. It was easy to install and the menu is easy to navigate.

Love this blu ray player. It includes 4K upscaling. Sometimes the picture seems stretched but overall pleased with this device.

I love how small and easy to set up this player is. Took no time at all to have it up and running.

Have had no problems watching Blu-Rays. Once I got the settings correct it sends great 5.1 signal to my receiver and a perfect picture to my TV. Apps part of it is a little confusing to work with, but I did not get it for YouTube or Netflix. Upscaling of BD to a 4K signal seems to be quite a treat.

Bought this unit to install in a second TV, the 4K upscaling feature, caught my attention, but I never expected to perform so flawlessly...I'm very impressed with the picture quality, it's also 3D compatible if one has that feature on a TV...this one gets a 10+ score....You won't be disappointed....

I bought this DVD player to place in front of my treadmill. The TV is closer than a regular set might be so any flaws would be more pronounced. The player provides an excellent picture, upscaling to near 4K standards. The videos are more enjoyable and help to pass the time on the treadmill.

This product is simple to conect and easy to use. I bought this model to go with my 4K samsung tv and the picture and up grade to 4k work togeather to give agreat picture and sound. the price was lowered after my purchase. Price match gaurentee gave me a no problem refund of the difference.

Went into the store looking to find an updated player to go along with my new 4K TV. Wanted to stay in the Samsung family but not spend a bunch of money on a player. This player was perfect, took it home hooked it up and the picture was great. Easy to set up and paired perfectly with my TV.
