Its ease of use makes it perfect for my young ones but it also has a higher end functionality that I do appreciate!

Nearing the end of its product life cycle, the UN65KS8000FXZA is now a bargain vs. its price when it debuted about 9 months ago. Compared to its competitors from Sony and Vizio, it has a brighter, more vibrant picture with more accurate colors and great blacks. I struggled with the decision to go with Samsung's Quantum Dot technology or OLED from LG. In the end, I felt the picture quality was about the same, and the Samsung was about half the cost due to the expensive manufacturing costs of OLED. Pros: * Motion is smooth, no judder * Picture with normal HD is outstanding * Clarity with 4k content from Amazon Prime is amazing * The one box system is great - all your HDMI cables go into one location, which connects to the TV, eliminating a mess of wires going up to the unit * remote is simple, easy to use and controls the cable as well Cons: You can find cheaper 4k TV's, even from Samsung, but this offer a lot of bang for the buck.

It was well worth the price. Have watched it twice so far and plan on seeing more of it.

Bought this on recommendation of Samsung sales person. Very simple to hook up and play. Great sound when coupled with good sound bar. Had some issue with fast forwarding when initially starting. Also, too many remotes required to run tv, sound bar and dvr. Overall would recommend it.

Bought this as my main room player. Very good picture overall, as I do not need true 4-K at this time. Upscaling seems to work very well on most DVD'S, but I have encountered a few freezing problems on some older DVD'S. Blue Ray's never seem to present a problem. Waiting to see if an online product upgrade solves the problem.

Amazing quality Blu-ray player. Set-up was a breeze and it is great to have easy access to all of the built-in apps (Netflix, Amazon Video). Connecting it to a Samsung TV makes the compatibility even better.

upgraded from my old blue ray player to this one and it is definitely an improvement.

Hooked it up in a few minutes. It did take about a half hour to get it blue toothed in. But it was quite easy.

My Blue Ray DVD is a fine product. It's small in size so doesn't take up much room.

Samsung itself is a great known brand, so that's one plus. This blu-ray player supports the next-gen technology of 4K and 3D playability as that starts to become the new norm. It also has wi-fi built in, which is a great addition as you can stream apps like Hulu and Netflix.

This is a great product which works well. The wifi is strong & gives access to multiple apps. The only negative for me is that the controls are on the top of the DVD player. So, if you don't use the remote (which works very well), you cannot stack other components on top of this one. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Decided not to go with the full true 4K option, just because I didn't want to spend the money. Figured I'll wait til they come down in price. This one has upscaling, and it's awesome!!! Overall performance of the player is pretty standard, and very happy. Good purchase!!

The box implies this plays HD. It does not. Otherwise it's OK for the price. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Excellent quality, plays from DVD to 3D Blu-Ray. The streaming quality is amazing. I have a lot of movies I've watched through digital copies, and paired with my soundbar it's almost as good as watching in theaters. Wi-Fi is built in and as fast as my service allows.

We had to grab this for a children’s birthday party. Our other one stopped working during the party. It was easy to hook up and get the party back on track for the kids. Now it’s hooked to our main tv. Easy to use, great quality for all our movies.
