I have a light switch that hides behind a dresser. This button turns on the overhead light. One tap cycles the lights on/off, two taps turns off the light (in case the network messes up somehow). I'm using two smart bulbs and like that I can customize the brightness and color. Works well. I know from experience that the batter lasts about 6 months. If I could suggest an improvement it would be a rechargeable power source.

I use these as a button to perform tasks or as a remote button. Have one setup to turn the bathroom light on/off stuck to the mirror since the switch is pretty far away. Another is setup to turn on the living room and master bedroom lights when we come home. Yet another turns off all of the TV and interior lights except for the hall way which stays on for 60 seconds then turns off. Another turns on/off the light next to the couch so I don't have to yell at Alexa.

We have smart switches throughout the house. We tried this Samsung button out in our kid's video game room to control multiple lights. Works great. The switches for the room lighting are slightly behind a large TV mounted on the wall, so this button makes it a lot easier to control things. We are going to buy some more. My husband wants one for our master bedroom fan. It is a pain to control it from your phone in the middle of the night!

This product is convenient as you can stick it to your wall or cabinet for easy access to turn products on or off. Easily connects to Samsung Smart Hug. I put one on the table beside my bed and instead of searching for the TV remote late at night, I simply reach over and push the button. Also great for turning on lights at night or Receiver to play music before I get out of bed.

Since this button uses z-wave technology, it’s a great benefit if you’re planning on using this to turn on some lights in case your WiFi goes down. I will say, while I do enjoy the product, it can be spotty sometimes when it comes to registering the first time using it after a couple of hours of idle. Many times I’ll press it and nothing will happen, but once I hit it a second time it works.

Works flawlessly every time. to get 5 stars would require the button to have more flexibility in programming. The Logitech Pop is much more flexible than this one. This one cannot do things like turn a switch on and off with a single click each. You have to set it for one click on and two clicks off. then you can hold the button down for a third option. But, for $13, t definitely is a bargain and works well.

I was looking for a battery powered switch to put under my cabinet to turn on the under counter lights that I have connected to Alexa and Leviton. Decora plug in. I can control them by telling Alexa to turn them on, but also wanted a physical switch and didn't want to have to wire it. Easy setup with Samsung SmartThings hub, works perfectly and love the built in thermostat, bonus!

Hoping it would control a smart bulb in a lamp, I was very to find this product. Upon opening the box, I found it w as s powered using a very large button battery. Expensive to replace, I thought. In using it, it doesn't sip the current either. It more depends on how often it is pressed as well. It feels well made. As with any seitch, only time will tell if the switch will last. After configuring the button, easy and straight forward, and using it, I found it to be spotty. I would press the button wait a 10 seconds, press it again. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Range was not my issue, as I brought the unit near the hub. The bulb is not the issue as it's been in use either the hub for over a year. The product has worked so well it now sits on a shelf unused.

I have four of these in use to allow turning lamps on and off for those who are not logged into the Samsung App and hub. This allows the timed routines to be overridden but resume without further intervention. Very convenient if you have guests or are not carrying your phone. The battery in each has lasted 10-12 months.

You can program 3 different actions into the button using the SmartThings app, which saves you a lot of time by just pushing once, pushing twice, or pushing long, instead of unlocking your phone, opening an app, and navigating to the page you need to push a button on.

Works Great, But I'd like it much better if it had 4 functions instead of only having 3 functions, Example, I push once & My kitchen light comes on & push twice it goes off, If I push a long hold my bedroom light comes on but it would be nice if I can push again to turn off the bedroom light.

It’s a simple device with simple capabilities but it’s well worth the price for the ease of setup and operation. It can perform 3 operations, a click, a double click and a hold and that’s plenty for me for a cheap little button. Don’t know why I didn’t pick one (or two) up sooner

The button was easy to setup. The only downside is there a 2 to 3 second delay from when clicking the button down to the lights turning on and off. The Philip Hue remote is instantaneous but you are going to pay a premium for it. David

This is a great smart home option when you have most of the basics out of the way. It certainly makes some things much more convenient and having multiple options for different presses makes it a bit more of a value. There are just not many items with this function out there.

A very convenient addition to my home automation system. It has three different functions that are easy to program and use. I’m using it to adjust fan speed in our bedroom when my wife is sleeping and I want to avoid voice commands using my Echo.

I bought one of these last year and use it to turn on my office lamp. That lamp has a switch that is not easy to get to. Attached it to my deask and I'm able to sit and turn on the lamp in seconds. A second one I bought tuns on a lamp upstairs from the downstairs.

I like the idea of starting commands with the touch of a button since it saves me from having to go the app or tell Alexa what I want to do. At times it takes a few tries to run the command but other than that it's been a good add to the house.
