The button is easy to initiate and add to the SmartThings network. The app provides lots of options to use it in different ways. You can set actions for a single tip or double or for pressing it longer. So you don't need one button for each action you want to setup.

This button is responsive and the battery seems to have a long life. I use it multiple times a day and at only a month in, the battery is still at 84%. Using webCoRE with Smartthings will allow you to use this button for just about anything.

Works well, pretty easy to use. Allows for controlling of 3 devices or automations with a click, double click, or hold of the button. I also use to check the tempatures in the rooms I have them in. Battery life is excellent too.

The Samsung Button is great. A simple Zigbee device that just works. I use them for lighting automations on my Hubitat Home Automation system, and given their low price, relatively long battery life and their reliability, I keep buying more. Recommended.

This can be used to control almost all smartthings supported devices. I just used it as a switch (with different scenes) for a group of my hue bulbs. It can be customized for different use cases. you buy and explore its options. will definitely be handy for some automations.

Strong magnet on the back. Three push button modes with tactile feedback on each button press - single press, double press, or press and hold gives it great utility. Linked it to the Samsung SmartThings A19 bulbs on a nightstand lamp that had a cord switch that was unreachable. Can now use it in three modes - 100% brightness, 20% brightness, and timed shutoff after 30 minutes from the button magnetically attached to the lamp base. Needs to have a good connection to your wireless SmartThings network to work properly. At first I pondered what is the utility of a SmartThings button, but now I have several ideas for uses in my home.

We moved into a new house and it didn't have a light switch next to the bed. I already had the smart outlets all I needed was this light switch to control it without having to open the app. It is easy to set up and very reliable.

This is just a simple button I have set to turn lights on/off, but the feature that I needed was reporting the temperature. My thermostat is one floor below, and with this button I can see the temp upstairs from my phone and make adjustments before I arrive home.

These buttons are simple to set up and use. They are made for the smartthings platform, but I have paired mine with the hubitat system. Uses zigbee for communication. Battery seems to last a good time.

I really like these buttons. They are small and you can stick them up anywhere with ease. The battery lasts months, if not longer. You can use these to trigger anything in your home automation system. I have a room that I enter from the garage that is often dark. There are switches for the lights on the opposite wall from the door. For convenience, I stuck one of these on the wall next to the door, where I'd really like light switches. When I press it, my automation system either turns on the lights in the room or turns them off (if they're already on). It also supports several types of presses - like quick tap, long press, etc. As a bonus, these have a temperature sensor.

Easy to setup to control 1-3 actions. For example, on my setup, one press turns on all my Sonos speakers. A double press turns on the Sonos speakers and both of my whole house audio amps so I can listen to music all over the house.

Use this with the motion detector and light in my room. Got tired of light coming on or waiting for them to cut off. So I brought this to have the ability to control lights at any time without leaving my chair.

Easy to pair and works perfectly. These buttons work locally with smartthings hub another words, they will work even if the internet is down. Of course the other item you are controlling has to work locally as well.

These are really handy, I have a few now. I use them to connect smartthings to IFTTT to smartlife wifi outlets, works really great given a small delay as it goes through the internet, but they are magnetic which is cool too.

Bought this button along with a SmartThings outlet to enable my son to control a lamp by his bed from the top bunk. Simple to set up with the SmartThings hub. 3 minutes to install if you already have the hub up and running.

I have two of these, one on each side of our bed, to turn the lights on and off and to put the house into and out of night mode. Using them directly with Home Assistant and Zigbee without the SmartThings hub.

Use your imagination to control up to 3 things. When using the Smartthings app, you are free to supplement almost any scene, automation or switch in your system. You will need a hub to make things work

This product gives me the convenience of turning a fan on and off remotely with a simple touch. I do not need to find my smartphone and start the smartthings app to do this anymore.
