It's a beautiful DVD player that converts to HD. It is quiet when it is running and It was easy to set up. I recommend it.

This is a really solid DVD player, especially for the price. The HD upconversion was a selling point. If you need a DVD player for an HDTV, this is a very good option for you. I would highly recommend it.

We needed a DVD player for the guest room and this is a great player and the price is excellent. The kids use it alot and we have had no problems. Great buy for the money.

Bought this player to go with our 2nd TV, a 32 in 720p with HDMI input. This is a great player - has HD Upconversion, which many DVD only players don't have. It also has an HDMI output and a combined Composite / Component output, along with the coaxial cable output.. While doing research I discovered most other DVD players have No HDMI output and only Composite and Coaxial cable output, No Component output. The HDMI output & the Upconversion makes DVDs look great. You can't go wrong with this player's picture quality and connection versatility. It's counterproductive to hook up a DVD player to a HD TV that has no upcomversion and to use a lower quality Composite video connection.

This is a relatively bare-bones product, but that's exactly what I needed-just something that plays DVDs, music, and the other types of items that are needed and gets the job done well. The remote is easy to use and the only criticism I would have is that it is a little bit slow to get moving once you turn it on, but that's not a big deal. Otherwise a very good product for the money!

This is a basic, no-frills DVD player that is perfect for my kiddos. The player is small and lightweight, so it doesn't take up much room. Also, it displays the time lapsed on the front so that you know how far along you are in the movie. It has a resume play feature which allows the movie to continue where it left off after you turn the player off and back on again. This is the second unit I've purchased. I got the first unit a little over ago, and my only major complaint is that the remote control stopped working recently, even after I replaced the batteries. Of course, this was after the one-year warranty had expired, so I just bought a cheap universal remote to replace it. No biggie. Other than that, the player still works fine. My other minor complaints are that the buttons on the remote that are used most frequently (menu, play, rewind, forward, stop) should be bigger, and the buttons at the front of the player should be a different color so they're easier to see (the buttons are black just like the player itself).

Simple to set-up, simple to use. Took all of about two minutes from box to plug in, and we were watching movies. Works perfectly, and doesn't take up a lot of room. Very pleased with purchase!

My favorite thing about this is it's petite size and sure fire picture delivery. I know when I get the HDMI cord I'm going to be thrilled.

Easy to use, reasonably priced, good quality, compact size

The picture quality and sound quality of the blue ray DVDs are excellent. The machine was easy to hook up with an HDMI cable and the remote was very easy to operate.

I wanted a no-frills reliable DVD player and that's just what I got. I like Samsung products. I don't use it often, but it's easy to use and always workis.

We bought this for my mother-in-law and she was able operate it easily. Compact and fits nicely in her entertainment console cabinet. Highly Recommend!

Works great . Minimal features and small size is great for the few times I rent a DVD from the Red box. I don't need wifi or apps on a DVD player .
