Like the look and feel of the product and the fast charging worked well. My issue was that the "leather" cover was a hair and dust magnet! Also I have a slim Speck Case on my phone and because of that it won't stay in the stand. It keeps sliding off. I think there would be this issue with any minimal case and certainly with a larger bulkier case.

I was expecting more from this more expensive item it does the job as long as it’s placed properly otherwise nothing will happen and don’t expect to charge your watch on it. Most likely a cheaper one will do the same job.

Bought with my Note 8 phone but returned it. I wanted the ability to stand up my phone but it was difficult due to the Otterbox Commuter case I use. I ended up buying a cheaper Samsung charging pad that works fine with my case. Without a case, the charger being reviewed worked well and charged my phone quickly. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't use a phone case.

The Samsung - Fast Charge Wireless Charging Convertible Stand is pretty cool, in theory. I mean it does work exactly as described. You set your phone on it and it starts to charge. There is no need to plug a wire into your phone. There does, however need to be a wire from the wall to the device, making the charger itself not easily mobile (you can just take a wall plug which is smaller and lighter). It does slide up so you can charge your phone with it either lying flat or leaning up against it which is nice if you have on, say a desk. You can't, however, use the phone while charging. The other drawback is the phone has to be directly on the charger. So, if you use a cell phone case to protect your phone, as many of us do, you will need to take it out of the case every time you want to charge it and put in back in to the case when your done. For me, it's just easier to plug the wire directly into my phone....no fuss, no muss. Plus, then i can use the phone while it's charging. Like I said...cool in theory, but hasn't turned out to be very practical. For me, at least. Absolutely no problems with the product itself though.

I love the idea of this and I love not having to frantically search for a cord to charge my phone. But if you do not put your phone directly in the center and in just the right spot it will not charge. Also it will not charge if your case is too bulky.

Purchased when I bought my Note 8. Slower to charge and you have to set your phone just right so that it does charge. Slightly large, wish it was smaller so took up less room. Overall, nice to not have to mess with plugging charger in but a little pricey for that convenience.

These will not charge as fast as the wall charger. However, they are handy. It is nice to setyour phone down on it for a quick charge. The only way I would recommend this is if you get it at a very discounted price. No way would I spend full retail price. I received this on a promo.

Pro: It's nice to just set my phone down and it picks up a quick charge. Con: The phone needs to be in just the right position to charge and a few nights I have gotten it wrong just to wake to find a dead phone.

It does work, it charges but not as simple as I had hoped with my new Note8. With the charger in it's flat position, the middle of the phone has to be sitting exactly in the middle of the charger for it to charge, if not centered it will not work. With the charger in an upright kickstand position it would not charge my Note8. It also takes a little longer to charge then the plug-in fast charger. I don't like cords because even when you are very careful unplugging them they always start to come apart or short out and also eventually don't fit good into the phone, so I will continue using both in the hope of it helping the fast charging cord and charge port on my phone to last longer.

this is a handy and simply way to charge my Samsung. just disappointed that it doesn't work standing up with my otter box case. it only works laying down and it has to be centered.

I have a note 8 with an otterbox defender case . Will not charge w upright charging. But when laying flat works Greek have to move it around until get charging light well built

Doesn't charge as fast as it claims. The convertible part is cool. You have to position phone correctly make sure the light goes on. Using with note 9.

When it works this does a great job at charging your phone, but you have to make sure that you center it on the charger otherwise you will experience pausing issues.

I like the convenience and idea of wireless charging, but the unit only works about half of the time, I believe because I have an Otterbox Defender case on my phone.

I had a regular flat Samsung wireless charger for years but I always wished I could have the phone upright while charging. I got a new Galaxy S8 and figured I'd buy this deluxe charger but--disappointingly--it does not charge well at all with an Otterbox defender on this phone. The ledge that the phone sits on is too narrow. If they had made it just a quarter inch wider, it might work. I end up having to use the charger flat. It works, but so did my old lay-down wireless charger.

This was recommended by an associate. It said it should work with note 5 and beyond but it has issues charging the note 5, but seems to charge the s8 okay.

Expensive for a one trick pony but I knew that when I got it. Charges well, fast and through my thin Gslaxy S10+ case.

Has trouble charging through phone case. Must charge in down position. Charge is quick when connection good. Better than others.

This works OK... but I almost always cannot keep a case on to charge. If you have an all-glass phone and are terrified of dropping it, as I am, you’ve got to steel yourself to remove the case and wait for it to charge. I know I’m paranoid, but I have 2 Otterboxes and several cases that have a wrap-around magnetic flap. Also even without a case, this doesn’t charge as fast as the flat charger I have. I can text with it if I’m extremely careful. Kids that are more coordinated probably would love this.

My phone is in a case and the charger will only work flat not standing up. Charges well and fast when flat.
