Great little device! I've been using about six weeks regularly. Bought as an alternative to SurfacePro8 because the floppy keyboard design of that kind of device limits the situations in which you can comfortably use the device--on your lap, for example. The Galaxy Book, though, has full tablet functionality but a nice stiff hinge to hold the device's screen at an appropriate viewing angle for any posture you might be working in. (I work in in a lot of different positions to combat fatigue, etc.). One huge factor in the decision: Only Samsung devices run Samsung Notes, which I've found to be the best too by far for loading and marking up PDFs by hand as well as for just scribbling/sketching ideas and brainstorming without the distraction of word processing. (I love OneNote for many things, but not for handwriting notes or opening PDFs and marking them. You can make Samsung Notes feed to OneNote, by the way. Not exactly "sync," though they call it that. It's a one-way feed from Samsung to OneNote.) Only one negative for this device: OLED is not what it's cracked up to be, and in this case, the non-OLED screen on the SP8 is far superior. The main reason is the sheer number of pixels. Galaxy Book2 360 is 1080p and has far, far fewer pixels, resulting in a less than ideal viewing experience. With some changes to the Windows settings, mine looks adequate now, but it was a difficult transition from the 'best I've ever seen' screen of the SP8. Windows changes: Scale 125% (rather than 150%). AMOLED color profile:AdobeRGB. Accessibility>Text Size: up a little, to compensate for overall scale reduction. For me, this results in more clear and natural looking text and less acid-trippy looking color intensity/saturation. The device is a bit overpriced, given the screen weakness, but I don't regret the purchase because of how great everything else is. Super lightweight, slim. The screen bottom bezel seems large, but this is actually useful for handling the device in tablet mode without triggering so many unintended touches. Bezels don't look great on tablets, but they are pretty necessary.

Recently on sale for $700 I don’t think there’s a better option for the money. 12th gen i7 with 16GB of ram and a 512GB hard drive AND a sAMOLED screen….it sounds like $1,000 all day. So on sale I could not be more pleased. While it consumes more power than an M1 or M2 it is faster and you don’t need to worry about any issues running applications. I do light gaming on the laptop on occasion and it’s a bit astonishing that I can play battlefield 4 at 1080p on low at 70-80 fps. I play older RTS like age of empires and Red Alert 2. They run beautifully. I am a PC enthusiast and even if you’re not, I always apply aftermarket thermal paste before I do anything along with a fresh install of windows. Battlefield 4 ran at the 70-80fps as low as 52 briefly in spots at 60-63c. It blew me away for a tiny ultrabook. Chances are if you’re buying this it’s probably not your use case but for normal applications like office, web browsing, and media consumption on its gorgeous screen, this PC is excellent. It also charges via USB C so there’s no fumbling around always needing the exact charger for this. I have a Mac and other USB C devices with charging cables which makes it easy to plug this in in any room. I saw someone complain the screen looks grainy and it is worth noting that I assume because of the amoled layout or screen layers it causes a grainy look with certain things on screen. Text is typically very crisp and at 13” 1080p looks very sharp. I have a 15” laptop that has a 1080p screen and it never has a grainy look. So with that being said, I think there is something physically causing that on occasion. It honestly looks fine to me, the colors, contrast, and resolution are stellar for the notebook size. I do wish it had a 16:10 screen which is 1920x1200 so it looks prettier with the whole screen of the laptop filling the space without a big 1 inch bezel on the bottom. I do not find it actually has any real world productivity significance, it just looks aesthetically pleasing to see a full screen like that. Unfortunately I cannot comment on battery life yet. As a rough projection of doing intensive tasks like downloads and installs it seemed to net about 4 hours so, I really hope just internet browsing or playing videos will yield far better results to the 18-21 hour claim. I would not purchase this with that expectation. If battery life is important I would lean towards a Mac. Otherwise I’d you need the pc at most for 8 hours this is probably sufficient. Outside of that the machine really is excellent for being on sale.

Love it. Super light weight and fast. I do not regret getting this laptop. Love that it has HDMI and uses USB C as a charger. Using for teaching and work. Well built. Small but packs a punch. I don't game so I don't know how it does with that. I do a lot of writing and research with many tabs. Works well for me.

I am very happy with this purchase. It has allowed me to get a good amount of work done. Multitasking is great, the touch screen is very responsive. Good for some light gaming too. Boot up times are very good, battery life is above average I'd say. Can't give a specific amount of time because everybody has different usage patterns.

Very thin and light, great for casual browsing and has a decent battery life. The AMOLED screen is amazing with black levels just like an OLED tv. I have to knock off for the trackpad as it can kind of cumbersome to use as the physical click takes a bit of pressure to register and the force needed tends to move the entire laptop since it’s so lightweight. I would have loved a laptop like this in college!

I bought at Xmas '22; the first one had severe battery issues. Just being open, no use whatsoever, lasted about 5 hours, after about a week that was cut in half, so it was basically unusable if you don't want to be tethered with power chord. Returning and replacing with a new machine was seamless with Best Buy. The battery has been much better than the first but not as advertised and I've now had it about 2 mos. The speakers are terrible, they were not a primary reason I bought a laptop like this (although they will be going forward), but they should be better. The keyboard is also a bit "sticky". The mouse pad is finicky at times. That said, there are a lot of nice features, good video quality, light weight but not flimsy, plenty of speed, I do a lot of streaming with sports, and it streams as good as my high quality tvs. Would I buy it again? If at a very good price point, perhaps, but the speakers are so bad that likely not.

This is a great laptop for everyday use. I was considering Surface pro 8 or pro 7 plus or MacBook air m2 Pro -light weight laptop -good typing experience -battery life - real life time use (youtube music / movie download / web browsing / youtube video) 9 hrs -sleek design -usb a & HDMI port -usb c charging -good connectivity feature if you have Samsung galaxy Con -fingerprint easy to appear (if this is issue, get the silver) -battery life (less then 10 hrs)

I bought this laptop in 2022. It's 2025 and I'm having trouble with the battery staying charged. It doesn't last long on a full charge and you can not work on the laptop while it is charging. I have to turn it off completely for it to charge which takes hours. Also, the Caps Lock button is always highlighted, so you can't tell if caps lock is on or not. I would also add one more usb plug for a more efficient file transfer. Overall I'm satisfied with the laptop.

Overall extremely happy. Very lite device, fast!! There has been just a very few moments where I've had many a lot of tabs open and it seemed to slow down some, quick refresh and it was back to normal. I don't do any gaming, streaming, etc...95% just basic work related items, most is heaving emails as attachments.

This little laptop is a beast but the aspect ratio really holds it back from being a true productivity device. If your main use will be browsing the internet and watching media then this is definitely a winner all around. It did get rather warm at the bottom when running multiple programs at the same time but if it's on a desk of some sort you won't be able to tell.
