0 stars, broke in 2 months and heat warped case
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.0 stars. Garbage device that bricked less than 2 months after purchase. When it did work, it got much hotter than it should have and ever warped the metal casing of the back fan area. I'm currently going through the Samsung warranty process, they want to repair it -- I just want a refund. This is unacceptable.

Cracked screen without impact nor misuse
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this laptop on June 8th. I have not travelled with it. I have not dropped it nor misused it. A crack appeared between the webcam and the bottom right of the computer. This happened to dozens of people when checking online. There is actually an ongoing investigation: https://shublawyers.com/current-investigations/samsung-galaxy-book-pro2-360/

Nearly perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a very specific list of requirements for a Windows notebook. Core i7+, FHD OLED or better, upgradeable storage, decent RAM, quiet, and at a reasonable price. I purchased this computer on sale for $500 off. At that price it meets my requirements. The 512GB is nothing to write home about. It's Gen 3 and slow, but it is NVMe 2280 and I brought it to Geek Squad and had a 2TB 980 Pro drive installed and it makes a huge difference in application load times and file access. This cost me nothing since I have a Totaltech subscription. It has an i7, but a P series so it runs well as it can with so little power. This is a trade-off I'm ok with for the light weight, long battery life and low noise. It has four power options from silent and slow to fast and loudish. I say loudish because I measured it at less than 40db and the frequency was low enough to sound like a whoosh instead of a whine. It is small so the heat it generates is concentrated. It's a little hot for bare skin and you wouldn't want to keep it on your lap for a long time. The build quality is excellent. The base is sturdy and inflexible. The screen moves smoothly with some flex. The 16GB of RAM is adequate, but I would have liked the option for more. I've also installed the Linux and everything seems to work out of the box. Generally when I buy a notebook, I'm usually somewhat disappointed by it's missing my requirements, but not this time. I can recommend this without reservation for a thin and light notebook.

Expected Better
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to my Past Laptops its ranks the last - in terms of convenience. Initially I purchased the 15 inch GBook 360, so the screen turns fully, many different uses. I was suprised the fan was running so loud, and almost constantly. I couldnt understand why. Then a few days in, I was *gently* turning the screen back so I could use it as a tablet, and it cracked right at the hinge & the LCD screen cracked there too, popped out, and went black. Thankful Thankfully I was within the return period, and I found the same Best Buy Member i purchased it from. He was very kind, and essy going and returned it for me. Actually when I told him what happened, he said "oh, Samsung hasnt fixed that hinge problem yet" - its been a defect and a few customers have had the same issue. So I didnt want to give up on the GBook, because I really wanted the 2 in 1 features. So I purchsed this one i'm doing the reviews on now. It came in the mail in a timely manner from Best Buy - but same issue with the fan, and it was constantly hot. So I went to GeekSquad to check it out, I thought maybe I was missing an update, or was running something that made it constantly hot. They couldnt find a reason, and told me it was a defect. So they replaced the laptop for me. The one I got was thankfully better. Its been about a year now since having it. I love that its light, small, touch screen, pen, great speaker. (A Lot of updates I felt, unlike when I had a Mac - but its windows, my Lenovo was the same way) Compared to a MAC, charging/battery life doesnt come close. The laptop also sometimes heated from being connected to the charger. I'm still constantly worried my screen will accidentally crack after my first incident -_-. But thankfully that has not happened.

All-around Amazing Laptop
|Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is pretty much my favorite device that I own. The fact that Samsung managed to fit such amazing hardware into such a compact laptop is amazing. I love the AMOLED Screen and its resolution, which is 1080p, but looks like 4k because of the crystal clear clarity of the screen. It is pretty reflective and definitely a fingerprint magnet, but if you place it on the right angle, it's perfect. A lot of people say this laptop's fan noise is an issue, and it does run while making some noise at some points, but as long as you're not in a room that's dead quiet, it shouldn't be an issue. It does feel like it produces a good amount of heat at some points for no reason, but it is easily explainable because of how compact the internal components are. I really like the 360 feature and I use my device as a tablet to take notes during class. The trackpad feels very responsive all the time and the keyboard is very satisfying to use, and the backlit keys give it that nice effect. The battery life was a determining factor for me. I read that the regular Book2 360's 1255p processor was rated for better battery life, but I was unable to get my hands on it, so I settled for the more powerful pro model. The 1260p in the Book2 Pro 360 has mixed reviews for the battery life, but I feel like in my case, the battery life is perfect. If I was using it constantly it would likely last AT LEAST 8-10 hours, but some reviewers have tested it to last 12+ hours. The battery life in this laptop is not an issue considering the power of the hardware that they fit into this computer.

Love this Laptop!!!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has a very sleek, thin, high quality appearance and feel. As for functionality, its fast and does everything I need it to do as well as great on weight for transporting since I work in the field. Display is vibrant and battery seems to last forever. The only down side is it uses only USB-C so you have to get a converter.

Beautiful laptop but superhot
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice laptop, and looks very beautiful. It is super slim and its performance is very quick, not to mention that the screen is crisp and sharp. However, it gets very hot readily and that's just browsing the internet and watching a few youtube videos. And the fans run everytime and is quite noisy. I don't know if that's normal, but I admit that the heat and fan noise scared me enough to return the laptop back to Bestbuy.

Out of this world
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro is a powerful and versatile 2-in-1 laptop ideal for professionals, creatives, and students who prioritize portability and a stunning display. Its lightweight design, long battery life, and included S Pen make it a compelling option for those on the go. If you are looking for a laptop with a dedicated GPU, this is not the one you should be looking to purchase.

Great laptop option.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Is an amazing laptop, fast and easy to use. I love being able to right woth my S pen, but I just wosh it would be more comfortable after folding it. Once is folded the keyboard is either against the table or your arm becaming uncomfortable to use and manipulate. Other then that is an amazing laptop and it would have a 5 star from me if it wouldn't have that issue.

Great ultrabook for the sale price ($999.99)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small and light, just the perfect size for ultimate portability. The FHD resolution is OK for the screen size. OLED is beautiful as one can imagine. The keyboard is excellent. Battery life so far is about 5.5 to 6 hours between charges with the screen brightness at around 70-80%. S-pen has almost no lag. Build quality is good. The weakest aspect of the laptop I believe is the hinge. It's tight but the mechanical structure is a little delicate for what it has to endure over the years. Only time will tell. So far very happy with the purchase.

Thing, light, and hot
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice laptop. My wife loves the bright high quality screen, that is super light small, and the battery life. She mostly uses it for work and drawing with the included pen. Other than that though the thermals make this a very limited laptop beyond basic web browsing and simple tasks. The new generation might be better.

Great portability & Design. Battery, not so great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great design & amazing size. Performance is pretty good with a few minor setbacks. The size and portability of this laptop is great. I didn't get to experience the s pen with this device, but I am sure it works great with the s pen that comes with it. This laptop has all the juice with not enough energy reserves. I mean, if you are just using it for a few hours at a time it would be perfect for that. Battery life is NOT good with this laptop. I got maybe a few hours of battery time, and it was dead. I wasn't doing any high-end memory consumption either. A little disappointed with this little beast of a machine. I would suggest going for the larger 15'' version as the 13'' is lacking quite a bit. I had some sound issues & windows had issues with log-in passwords multiple times and made me change it at least three times. (Which is weird). I wouldn't say this is a bad computer but if you are looking for something for short use periods this would be great. Samsung usually has great products but this one fell a little short, to me.

Very clean and good for school
|Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE THIS LAPTOP. Very thin and light. Super powerful too. I really underestimated the power of intel's new efficiency and power cores. Love the screen as well. I use this laptop daily in both laptop and tablet mode for school. Especially useful for notetaking. I like the angle to be a little higher so I use my airpods in a silicone case to prop the screen up in tablet mode. The battery also lasts all day with about half to spare if I put it in best power efficiency mode.

I love this computer overall
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop is sleek and lightweight. I like that the power adapter is a two prong plug (instead of 3-prong). I like how the power adapter is USB-C. There are no USB-A ports, therefore you must buy an adapter. I love the stylus pen! My battery started off great then after about a month, it began draining rapidly. I don’t know if I caused this unintentionally (considering I’d been using the car charger to charge computer while in the car since the car charger fits the power adapter port). I ceased using the car charger and did a battery reboot (pressing “F2” at restart screen when “Samsung” appears, etc.). The battery is now holding a long charge like when I first purchased the laptop, which is great!

Definitely a must have!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving this laptop! I should have bought this laptop first. The speed is on point and when I hooked it up to the big screen then it was still as clear as day. I installed all my programs and have had no issues with performance at all.
